Adult Content - Web 2.0 - Please help?

Hi warriors, Can anyone recommend where I can create a blog about adult content on a web 2.0 site? I tried Squidoo but its classed as spam. I would like to create a blog about adult sites.

Also if there are any Adult free advert's that any of you know of, such as forums where adult advertising is allowed, I would be greatful for those links too.

The only option I can think of right now is Wordpress.com. I want to avoid Craigslist

Thanks in Advance

If people want to view adult web cams, why not let them click my link? Its a solution to a problem, im not tricking anyone into anything if thats what you mean.

Was thinking of a blog, but at this point I dont want to spend a massive amount of time on this, which is why im leaning towards wordpress.com, quick and easy. Im not even sure wordpress would allow this tho?

A quick look at WordPress.com's Terms of Service shows that they don't specifically ban adult content. However, they are not at all keen on affiliate marketing.

"And here are some examples of blogs that are banned from WordPress.com (all of these fall under the general heading of "spam blogs", or splogs, and will be deleted as soon as we find them or they get reported):
      ....
Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes ("Make six figures from home!!", "20 easy steps to top profits!!", etc). This includes multi-level marketing (MLM) blogs and pyramid schemes. To be clear, people writing their own original book, movie or game reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people linking to their own products on Etsy do NOT fall into this category."

The problem with using a 3rd party service like WordPress.com is that you're not in control - they can ban your site in a heartbeat.

My suggestion is to get a hosting account and install WordPress. Choose a hosting company that doesn't have a problem with adult sites. Hostgator, for instance, has this in its Knowlegebase:

      "Do you allow adult sites?
Yes, we allow adult sites. They must be legal in the United States of America."

There are a couple of adult webmaster forums - they should have good info on free advertising etc. Google them.

PrestonJF - what's this about going blind? Do you speak from experience?

You might as well start selling cocaine to teens. You don't need a website and you might make more $$$.

I went to a networking group a year ago and met a guy that was making insane money as an affiliate to adult sites. He was actually looking to get out into other niches and slowly retire out of the adult market.

Learned quite a bit about adult webmastery from the conversation we had. Everything he was doing was the same exact thing that everyone that is active in building a business online does he just was doing it all at a higher level than anyone shares here at the WF.

Most of the content in the adult niche is provided for you free as an affiliate. You do not even have to have your own domain if you don't want to. Depends on the content as to what hostgator will allow or not, I wouldn't risk your account if it is linked to non adult sites. There are hosts out there you can use for a cheap price, similar to HG but strictly for adult.

Look up the site mentioned above, it is the place you need to be when getting into anything adult related. It is also a good source for learning tricks of the trade in SEO and driving really cheap or free traffic.

I know a couple people that get alot of their information on SEO from that site and sell it in their own infoproducts to the regular IM niche. Probably shouldn't have shared that... lol

There is a lot you can learn from those in the Adult Webmastering Industry... Those that apply some of that knowledge in non Adult niches completely RULE over the competition. The IM niche, as portrayed in the WF has nothing compared to these Adult Webmasters... Totally different ball game there... pun not intended. LOL

The adult business is much harder to make money in than mainstream these days. I made millions in adult over the last decade and I am slowly divesting myself out and into mainstream.

One good thing about adult was I learned all kinds of great methods for generating traffic. Adult affiliate programs really know how to treat their affiliates and how to help them. Most mainstream programs miss the boat. They supply you with a few banners and think it's enough.

    Good luck
