Can you guys recommend a webinar product?

Stuff I do on my own:

I produce a video
I promote it to my lists
People sign up for a specific time and PAY for a webinar appointment they set

Stuff I need the product to do:

Take payment and set webinar appointment
They get an email and they show up at the specific time to view the canned video
The video cannot be leeched/ripped easily
If they miss the specific time, they can reset
Once the system detects that they logged in to watch the vid, they can't log in again

Is there a webinar product that has these features?

I don't need a LIVE webinar product. I need a CANNED VIDEO (pre-recorded) video product.

I don't know an exact product that does this, but I'd recommend contacting Russ Ruffino on the forum as I think he's familiar with this type of stuff.

Also, Mohammed Ali has a product that does auto webinars.

Looks interesting... Do you use this? How well does it deliver the features I listed above?

In particular, I need a ticketing system. User goes to sales page, signs up for a webinar, pays, gets an email with a link to the webinar he or she scheduled.

I like the SMS reminder feature--do I pay extra for that?

If your running a real business.. Then go with a professional company.. Gotowebinar, meeting burner etc. avoid these webinars plug ins from vendors that sell them

Then use gotowebinar as their actual platform

Meeting burner professional has an option for PayPal so people can pay for the webinar.

        Good luck

Does gotowebinar also include SMS notification?

The developers (partners) of EBS are both members of the forum here,
so perhaps they will chime in. If I bump into either (virtually), I'll point
out this thread to them too.

        It doesn't do this:
If they miss the specific time, they can reset
Once the system detects that they logged in to watch the vid, they can't log in again

        SMS is an extra fee.

How much does SMS cost? I think that's awesome feature to have.

They only integrate with https://www.tropo.com/pricing/. That's the pricing page, btw.

I don't do webinars but I have been seeing a lot about Pure Leverage and their suite of products including webinar software.

Not sure if it would be something you are looking for, I have never tried it just seen their ads all over the place.

I've studied pureleverage and it offers a collection of features that might not mesh well with the value proposition I am thinking of offering my customers.

Anymeeting.com will do this and because you are charging they will be ad free. You can also send followup messages to the attendees. They used to host your recording for free also, but I think they charge for that now.

Do any of the product suggestions mentioned so far protect against video rippers?

Nothing will protect a video. Worst case scenario, I can record it with Total Video Recorder Pro, Camtasia, SnagIt or whip out my camcorder and press "record". So don't stress the protection because 100% protection will never exist.

Jesus, the problem is the Video IS the content. They rip that, then they don't need to go to any of my webinars.... I guess my fallback is to aggressively enforce DMCA, right? But how do I detect my stolen video intellectual property online? What if they don't use keywords. Sorry for seeming paranoid but almost all the WSOs here and many topnotch CB products (Even software!) are ripped and posted on BH sites regularly. In fact, considering the huge amount of BH sites, it is a good thing people still buy WSOs.

Writeaway, I mean this in the best possible light.

I completely understand the paranoia. Been there, done that, been worried, sent DMCA's. Every business person, at some point in their career, has been there.

But you seriously need to stop caring.

          Stop caring about the thieves.
          Because....they don't care about you.

And they'll never buy anything from you anyways. It's not your target market.

Yes, WSO products get ripped off daily. But you know what? They keep getting created and they keep selling like hotcakes. They sell to people you want on your list. They sell to honest people that are trusting you with their time and dreams (mostly dreams ).

Right now, someone is probably launching a $40,000 software product in the WSO area while their product is being shared at every BH site online. Would you rather have the $40k now? Or keep it locked down another 12 weeks while you look or wait for an even better video protection script?

If WalMart was this worried about shoplifters, they never would have opened their doors and built a billion dollar corporation. Instead, they'd still be looking for the perfect anti-theft device to place on hot dogs and toilet paper.

Please get unstuck and stop caring about getting your videos being shared or stolen. Get them out there and in the hands of honest buyers tomorrow. Trust me, they outnumber the blackhatters. Your bank account will thank me someday.

Thanks, I appreciate it, Jesus. You covered all my concerns. I am slowly moving away from being a content freelancer to a product developer and I appreciate everyone's help in this thread as I make my slow transition.

I would use GoToWebinar. The reason is that I would think more people have the software on their computer and you'll get greater participation.

Hmmm, interesting. My target market for my webinar product involve people who are traveling or in transition. A web-based approach might make more sense, don't you think?
