Question regarding "Warrior For Hire" section

I'm wondering if anyone's had success providing a service in that section. I'm interested in posting there. Does it cost anything? Please share your experience.

    Hey Bill.

This link will explain how it works for you. It is to the sticky at the top of that section.

Although I have never advertised there, I do know of plenty of warriors who do get work from posting here.

I hope this helps you a bit.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

I know plenty of warriors as well who make a good living just off the Warriors for Hire section. It's all about how you brand yourself, your portfolio, your pricing, etc.

I have hired some warriors from that section. Many of them make a living out of it so for sure it is a very good place to put your offer. Your success will depend on the quality of service you provide.

    Yes and yes.

But not everyone will have success posting a service there. And sometimes bumping a thread doesn't even bring in any new clients. I think it depends on the following: how you present yourself, # of testimonials, and your reputation on this forum (post count, # of thanked posts, etc).

Unless, of course, you offer an incredible service. I know a few people who make good money from offering services in that section. It really depends on the amount of effort you put into advertising your service.

    Hi Bill,

The section is great for getting work. I have gained a lot of work from it myself and I am a writer/proofreader. I have seen ads for website designers and a ton of other jobs and I have no doubt many of them also have gained work.

Obviously you need to develop a reputation as well so that people will trust you but it's not hard if you're honest and ethical and write threads and posts that make a contribution to this fantastic forum where you'll also learn heaps.

    Good luck.
