Default some tip for writing walkthroughs?

Hi, I just had a new site w/c teaches (super) newbies to get started into aff.marketing (in my siggy). Basically it doesnt earn yet and dont intend for it to make money that easy... Anyway, i just find writing walkthroughs and super basic tips articles tedious especially im not really a good writer and i write spontaneously. I have hired a couple of freelancers but still feel the need for me to improve.

in all honesty i really the site to be an aff.marketing blog portal wherein newbies (which mostly are my friends) w/0 knowledge can read an learn hopefully. then hopefully monetization would get into way.

Any tips on having success with having a newbie guide site/blog?
