Traffic Exchanges Worth It?

Hi Warriors,

I use a lot of PPC and solo ads but never tried traffic exchanges.

Got some offers in the make money online niche that i would like to try.

Most people using traffic exchanges are trying to make money so these types of offers should work.

Your thoughts.

Cheers,

Gary

    Gary,

If you are doing OK with PPC then stick with that.

Traffic exchange websites are a total waste of time and your money. I personally don't recommend you use them or spend any of your money for this traffic.

Some people claim that they work really well if you use them like social networking sites and build relationships.

Personally, I joined a few recently but never got into it. After 1-2 hours I figured I'd stick with what I know.

Traffic exchanges are useless and very dangerous for your computer, you need a very strong anti-virus.

Ok guys thanks for your comments

Guess i invest my time in other methods then.

Any good ones for the MMO niche, apart from PPC and solo ads?

    Cheers,

They are good if you just started with list building and you want to get some subscribers or if you exchange your credits for banner impressions on their website. But the quality of that traffic is mostly very low and other people just surf websites to earn credits (like you do) and they don't even look at your site!

The best thing to promote with traffic exchanges is traffic. Absolutely everyone on the traffic exchange wants traffic. That's why they're on it.

Even if they're not even looking at your site, a flashing graphic that says "GET MORE TRAFFIC NOW" will make them look.

        Good point.

But i believe that the ultimate goal of these people is to make money, so MMO offers would work better. Your thoughts

From what I've seen, traffic exchanges are full of MMO offers and everyone is complaining that they don't work.

What you really need is a free guide to getting started with PPC, then a back-end offer for a detailed guide and private membership site. Because almost everyone on a traffic exchange is bitching that they spend all this time getting traffic credits, but the traffic doesn't convert.

So sell them traffic that converts. The market is telling you what they want. Just listen.

using traffic exchanges and safelists is a numbers game. the thing you are trying to do is build a list or downline you can email offers to. you shouldnt try to sell anything. it takes time and consistency. its not immediate, like ppc.

I used traffic exchanges purely to get traffic to my websites. I offer the highest possible quality content that not only entertain but inform. That way I only get the people who want to sign up without forcing them.

I only use traffic exchanges to get extra traffic. If they sign up, cool. If not, that's cool to.
