Can anyone help me with this problem?

I am having a hell of a time with cloudfront.com popping up half the time when I click on a link. I just happened when i tried to post this thread. They have a link to go to your site, or skip the add or something. But it is a real pain.

I have gone on the internet to search for a cure as virus and malwarebights does not get rid of it. None of the cures I can find on the net seem to be there on my computer. They tell me to go to places on my computer and uninstall stuff or delete files that don't appear on my computer, so i am lost.

I need some help before I go out of my head. Please. It is seriously interrupting my work.

I also have this damn flash player may be out of date that pops up all the time too, and i have gone through the same process with that, and none of them work right. The stuff I am supposed to fined is not there either.

Why me? What did I do to deserve this? Please someone help.

I had similar issues a few months back. Someone told me I needed Adblock. It worked. I'm running Chrome. Not sure if it works on other browsers. It's free but the guy accepts donations.

      Ditto!

I use it and love it and since I installed it I have discovered that I cannot live without it. I disabled it once for something I was doing at the time, but I can't remember what it was.

Anyway, I forgot to enable it again and oh my gosh! Yikes!

I knew then that I didn't ever want to live without it.

I have that running, but it doesn't seem to help. I am getting links on my pages, which is why I first installed that. I just seem to be attracting problems like no-one's business.

Tim - have you tried superantispyware? (superantispyware.com) That often finds things that malwarebytes misses.

Has it installed itself as an extension in Chrome? I often find that uninstalling manually first helps - are there other, unwanted toolbars/suspicious item if you look in "programs"?

I always finish by running the registry cleaner from CCleaner (piriform.com)

If all else fails, you're welcome to hit me up on Skype, although I'm in a different time zone from you.

I ran CCleaner, we shall see what happens, but it didn't' look like it found it as best as I could tell from my knowledge of reading registry stuff. Got my fingers crossed.

If the links are coming from something you accidentally installed you will have to find it and uninstall it manually before running superantispyware and ccleaner.

Look in the extensions in Chrome and any other browsers you use. Uninstall any you don't use.

Then look in programs and uninstall anything you don't need. Common ones are Babylon, Mywebsearch and a stack of unwanted toolbars. Often you will find they were all installed on the same date.
