Help please! - Any domain and host reccomendations?

I've figured out the problem with my internet marketing efforts, I just haven't been interested enough, but now I'm confident that I have found the correct niche for me and I would like to take the first step towards actually making money by setting up a money making blog in a niche that I know I can write enough articles about to get it visitors.

Any suggestions or reccomendations on what domain and hosting services I should use for my first attempt at a moneymaking blog?

    Hi ragnartm,

The first thing I would say is that MMO can be an incredibly hard place to start marking money in ... have you dome some research into how competitive the niche is etc?

In terms of hosting etc, well, i myself use hostpapa, and occassionally godaddy for domains .... they're ok, not perfect ... just find something that gives you what you want ... e.g if you're wanting to setup a wordpress blog, make sure they have cpanel and fantastico available.

Thanks, as far as I can tell the competition is horrible some of the top results on google were just blank pages filled with amazon.com reccomendation links lol (It's a rather popular keyword as well.)

    Hey ragnartm,

Just a suggestion since you want to go in the MMO niche. Although some say its hard and your loosing your money as a beginner, I would say that its just going to take time depending on how unique/good is your content but you will eventually be able to make some bucks here and there and maybe even a good income in the future. I just encourage you to follow your wants and to never give up. Always remember to start inviting you real friends to check out what your doing and that way you'll start with a small crowd.

Now to answer you question. I use just host and they are really good in hosting while they can provide your domain again just use the pass code FREEDOMAIN and you'll get if for free. About their hosting now> well so far I've liked what they have and the best thing was that when I started out (I was a newbie) I would call them for anything and they usually responded within 3 or so minutes and would give me my answer

Well, you can find more about it here: www(dot)justhost(dot)com

Use http://www.hostgator.com/ you can have unlimted URL's under one hosting plan, bugger all ( $10 per month I think?). I got URL's threw godaddy, but I dont recommend them - thier site is slow and if you get your site banned for some reason they can take ownership of your domain.

      I can recommend Liquid Web.

Their support is great, and this can make a huge difference if you're not particularly advanced with the 'ol tech stuff!

Namecheap and Hostgator. Can't go wrong.

For a free hosting service, try 000webhost.com I'm using them for a minisite and so far, so good. No ads or branding on their space.
