How Do I Add An Audio File on Wordpress? Need Help...

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to figure out for some time now how to upload audio files on wordpress and I can't seem to get it.

Although I'm able to get the audio file on the site, they don't seem to appear with an audio player. Instead, all that is there is a download link and although people can still access the file, I'd like to have the audio file be hosted on an audio player.

Can anyone in here help me with this challenge?

If you are using any type of audio or video files nowadays I would not be hosting them on your site though, I would be using a service such as Amazon S3. It's the standard these days.

  I use the wordpress plugin: Blubrry Powerpress. I host the audio in libysn, then upload it in Powerpress. They've been working Great for me for quite a few years!
