Webhosting & Domain names...

Hey guys, I'm about to make a second website for a second product, now i purchased my previous webhosting and domain name from godaddy for about £85 for 2 years.

I'm wondering if there is a cheaper solution to this, my first website is for 1 product, and my next website is for a different product in a completely different niche.

Do i need to buy webhosting for this second website? Or can i use it under the same webhosting as my first website?

I have also found a promotional code that cuts the price down from £85 by 25%, which is a big help.

thanks

You should use a 'multidomain host' like hostmonster.com or hostgator.com. Means they will allow you host unlimited domains. This will be cheaper instead of buying seperate hosting for each domain.

What you're talking about is purchasing a domain name then using cPanel to use it as an 'add-on domain'

What James is trying to say is "Does your hosting allow unlimited domains?" - if so you can simply register a new domain name (with anyone) and then use the "addon domain" facility to host your new domain (i.e. on the same hosting as your first domain)

It really depends on what hosting plan are you on? Does it allow addon domains?

It doesn't matter if your domains are in different niches.

Yes aparently it does allow multiple websites.. I'm using GoDaddy's Deluxe plan. I'm trying to figure out how to do this now.
