Want to launch a WSO, but ...

Hello people,

As you can see in the WSO section. There are a lot hyped up WSO's like, "Want earn million a day? Get that super cheap WSO for $2 now! etc.

I'm planning to launch one as well, but with a much higher price. To be honest, I'm not very much into WSO's, but I have heard there is possibility to make some good money when things are done well.

I'm a SEO and lately there has been a lot of algo changes which means, every day people get lost in Google. They start crying. They don't know what quality links are. They keep buying some useless softwares that guarantee them page 1 rankings. They get scammed by some "SEO experts" who creates them crappy links etc etc...

This is a pretty common day for any rookie-guy who tries to rank a site on Google.

That's why I'm planning to but together a linkbuilding course/book that shows people what are REAL links, how can you get them and why google loves them. I'm planning to make it really comprehensive with a step by step tutorial which you (client) can implement every single day.

BUT... I wanted to give some samples/proofs to people about the sites I have already ranked for extremely competitive keywords with this exact linkbuilding technique.

Now I think, I won't do that. Why? Well, most likely I get thousands of competitors who are all trying to outrank my sites with my own strategy. I'm scared, because I know if things are done correctly, it will work.

Is there some other way to show potential buyers that I have actually ranked those sites with this techniques without giving away the URL/keyword? I was wondering maybe showing them Google analytics screens as well as income reports, but those can be faked easily so I probably might not even bother myself with it.

Do you have any other ideas? Any suggestions/recommendations are more than welcome.

    Maybe i'm not the best person to answer this BUT if you are aiming for a higher price maybe a WSO isn't the best choice for you.

    As i see peoples here on WF are not really buying high priced products and i even see complains ins some threads about the high price.

    As i know if you are selling a high priced product the best may be a WEBINAR or to partner with a BIG GUN that will sell to his existing customers.

    Still, i'm a rookie, don't accept my answer and drop the idea to launch a WSO

    The best is for you is to establish yourself as SEO expert on this forum and I am sure with good and positive reviews from other members will help you a lot...

    Hi,

    Don't over think this.

    I wasted months of thinking that sharing my best information
    could increase my competition.

    But in fact it had an opposite effect & I now have a nice base
    of buyer subscribers that want to hear my opinions & recommendations
    every time I email them.

    Creating WSO's is a great way to build a buyers list that you can
    build STRONG relationships with & those are the ones who will
    listen to you and help you take your online business to the next level.

    Don't think that because YOU don't like WSO's that it can't work as
    a business model for you.

    If they didn't work the owners would simply put an end to them.

    If you have a STRONG sales funnel in place you can offer 100% front-end
    commissions to your affiliates or even front & back end 100% commissions
    to even further attract top affiliates to your WSO.

    The possibilities are quite endless but maybe you haven't done your
    research on them enough.

    There are some fantastic WSO's that actually go into "how to set up
    a successful WSO" in depth & guide you through the whole process.

    So there really is everything to gain here because YOU have something
    of REAL VALUE to offer here.

    I really hope you overcome these barriers that are holding you back

    Launch a product. i..e don't limit yourself and your price point to the WF.

    A WSO is a special offer - hence the low prices.

    With that said, don't feel obliged to sell your WSO at a price point everyone else is because there's a "What do you expect for $7?" posse out there who will nulify the quality of your product in their minds before they have even looked at it.

    On the flipside there's those who will have something to say about the price point because it's not $7 but that will help you eliminate undesirables.

    You can put together a video with censored blocks placed over sensative information.

    Camtasia allows you to do this.

    You'll add significant value to your offer by presenting a video too.

    The upside potential seems low to me.

    WSO buyers = unrealistic, low cost-oriented buyers.

    Products that don't use hype and have high prices can't possible do well in that environment. Besides, 'link building' is not as hot as it used to be. Use your techniques to make your own cash.

    If you don't want to give away your niches or keywords then the next best thing is to put your money where your mouth is. That is guarantee a certain ranking or result from your services. If you don't want to do that then start off by offering some very low priced services and get them to leave reviews of their results after you have provided the service. Once you have some case studies and reviews from other people it should help.

    But people in this forum are naturally skeptical. So most will want to see some sort of proof if you are claiming a certain result.

    A lot of people are really in to SEO, I think that a 'higher-priced' WSO would still sell well. Just remember that WSO means Warrior *SPECIAL* offer, so it has to be cheaper than what the general public can get your product for. As far as your concerns about increasing your competition, don't worry about it, all your competitors can do is copy you; YOU ARE THE INNOVATOR. If someone does out rank your page using your own strategy, that isn't a bad thing, it is proof that your system works! So, in that unlikely event, take their success using your system and use it as a selling point! Every 'negative' is really a positive in disguise, it only depends on your perspective.

    I sold a hundred-odd copies of an SEO product here for $67.

    Of course, that was years ago, but there are still quality customers and quality business owners here. They just aren't making as much noise as the screaming children who want guaranteed passive income for free.

    My personal thoughts on the modern WSO would be that you start out with a stripped-down, no-fluff, no-frills product that is pure information. Like the Hummer H1, which was very much a military vehicle and about as smooth and comfortable as one.

    Then you go out to Clickbank or whatever with your slick overproduced product all kitted out like the Hummer H2, which was every inch a luxury vehicle.

    Basically, it's test marketing - you use the feedback from your WSO to improve and upgrade your product, then use some of the revenue from the WSO to outsource graphics and design and layout services, and finally jack up your price and go to the mass market.

    If you're a nice guy, maybe you send your Warrior customers a free upgrade or a time-limited discount code.

    Most offers in the WSO section aren't even remotely useful for a real person running a real business. They're infotainment. They exist for beetle-brain idiots to pretend they have a shot at running a business. They're just another form of lottery... you won't win, you never win, but you buy your ticket anyway because what if.

    First of all, if your SEO technique have functioned well, there are nothing to be
    afraid of or scare that people will outrank your sites with your own strategy.

    If you are afraid of displaying your URL or keyword, then DO NOT Show them so
    you can prevent people from competing against you for that keyword.

    Don't be afraid of letting people think your Google analytic screens are fake.
    Because it is about the contents that you are giving away to them.


    In my opinion, to let the people know how well your SEO strategy works is not
    about the proofs that you put on the salespage but rather the good reviews from
    Warrior Members you are receiving.

    My tips to you is to publicly offer review copies at a discount price or even for free
    to the first 5 or 10 people. They will read your report and apply your techniques. If
    the marketers actually like your Warrior Special Offer, then you must receive
    GOOD reviews within the thread of your WSO.

    And ...

    Use those GOOD reviews as your proofs on proving your techniques and products
    are worth of the money that they are spending on.

    If you're scared, then buy a dog. WSO"s are a great way to make money, don't let the threat of competition scare you away from making money.

    Hi

    If you are worried about the competition outranking your own websites, you can choose not to show your own keywords and niche selections.

    You can create a step by step process for ranking anything in any niche using your system. For more credibility start from scratch and then using your system rank it google and that can be used as proof.

    Or better instead of launching a WSO launch a monthly membership service for SEO. That way you have monthly recurring income and a lot of clients without having to worry about the competition outrank your own sites. I mean the client selects the keywords and builds the site around and then you can step in to optimize and rank it google.

    For me personally I would create something on recurring side of the income stream.
