Short URL script customizing

I do this all the time with those types of URLs with a.gd -- I assume it works the same with the rest of them.

You don't have to do anything special at all - -just do what you normally do to shorten a URL. Just go do it and then test it to make sure it works.

Use .htaccess

Code:

RewriteEngine On 
RewriteRule ^pdev.php$ http://ecsdave.com/personaldev/?e=YOURPAYPALADDRESS@YOURDOMAIN.COM&dc=MHM

Then you could use a url like ecsdave.com/pdev.php

Please note that pdev.php does not need to exist at all and you can make that anything you want such a x.html if you wish..

Maybe I wasn't clear...

Thanks for the suggestions so far though!

I don't want the affiliate to enter anything
but their paypal addy, and their "keyword".

The output would be the urlnx.com domain
with their "keyword" at the end after the "/".

Well, I figured out (sorta) how to do this, but...
I can't seem to be able to "append" anything
after the email is entered (such as a coupon
code), don't want to ask the submitter to do
that, as the codes do change from time to time.

RAP v3.1 automatically generates shortened URLs for RAP affiliate links right on the affiliate tools page, using a new service named scrnch.me. Release date is coming up fast, and the owner of the service will be offering more really great extras for RAP users.

The guy who created "SCRNCH" (Bill O.) not only has what is probably the best URL shortener on the street, but the STATS, Traffic Generator and back end Analytics (even in v1.1) are very compelling.

I can't wait to see what his next feature/function set includes and now that I see Sid is a Fan, I'm pretty sure I'm right on with buying this Tool.

I think the way we can customize the URL has strong value for a number of reasons. Here are a few SCRNCH URLs with links to articles on my Ferree Money Blog;
