Writing does get easier. My first article took a few days. With each article, I got faster and faster and can now write 400 words in about ten minutes!
But, in reading your post I noticed that there were grammatical errors. Does this happen when you write the articles? If so, it really would be best for your business if you either outsource or get better at the writing part. It could be that writing just isn't your thing, and that's totally okay because people have strengths in different areas. Even if you go back and fix the errors and spelling mistakes and the article ends up sounding great, you wasted precious time when you could have been doing something else that you're really good at. It's like with me - I can bumble my way through web design stuff but it takes several hours for me to do what it would take an expert 30 minutes to do. So I stopped trying and started outsourcing which left me with more time to do the things I'm good at. Are you good at something like web design? Maybe you can find someone to barter with. |

I am a strong believer in focusing on your strengths and let others do the rest. It's not the optimum way of doing things if you want to improve your weaknesses. An improved weakness is still an weakness afterall.

I typically enjoy writing anyway, but sometimes the material can just be mind numbing, but it has to be done. When I got Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it made all my writing actually fun. It makes writing (almost) as easy as talking. But maybe it's just because I've only had it for a month. I'll probably revisit my opinion once the novelty wears off.

I like using PLR to get my creative juices flowing. It's like exercise- at first it's hard and you hate it but then it gets easier the more you do it.

It's not an all out or all in issue; rather you are writing articles for marketing purposes or for content for your own sites.
Do the outline and first draft and hire someone to polish it. This will costs less than the outsource writer doing everything from scratch. Do a list article. Other ideas: Be sure it's not the writing you don't like but the topic instead. You can always do short articles or blogs. Read what others do in the same niche and notice what works and appy the techniques to your article. Outsource enough to get started, then use PLR or public domain content; but mix those up and rewrite the 1st and last paragraphs some. Use a different marketing method. Take a break from writing. If I get frustrated with something; sometimes the best thing for me to do is walk away and clear my head. Then try again. |

As the cosmokid says, you need three skills:
technical skills writing skills marketing skills Sure, you can outsource everything, but in the beginning the more you do the more you earn. Later on you can focus on your strength and outsource the rest. But even then you need to know something about all three so you can judge the quality of what you're buying. Here's my two cents about writing articles. First, you don't have to be an expert. You don't have to love your subject. But you must be interested enough to want to know more. It's not so much a "Do what you love" kind of thing as don't do what you hate just because there's money in it. Second, research. Writer's block is caused by lack of knowledge. When you're stuck staring at a blank screen, it's simply ignorance. You don't KNOW what to write. So go do some more research. Third, most articles are simple how-to pieces, like recipes. Or the X best ways to do ... If you've shared a recipe with a friend, or told them how to do something or e-mailed them about the three coolest rides at Disney, say, then you can write an article. Finally, take a step back and learn how others do it. Google the folks who have replied to your query. Many of them are professionals who offer tons of free advice. After you've read a couple of their manuals, you'll see the common techniques they use and it'll all make sense. |

If you are writing about something you are passionate about - it will not seem like such a chore.
If you blog - you can easily turn your blogs into small articles (killing two birds with one stone). Most people don't like to write because they feel that their writing is poor - put this out of your mind. Most reader will overlook minor writing errors if you provide them something that they really need. You can also create a template for your articles then follw the template - this will take some burden off you when you start to write. lastly, the more you practice - the beter ans easier it will become. |

PLR stands for Private Label Rights which means you and in most cases, many other marketers will have. The idea is you have the rights to pretty much do just about anything with them except re-sell unless stated. They are great for having research already done for you on a particular niche and most are already keyword rich for simple re-writing. Most PLR articles come in sets of about 10+ on any given niche.
In regards to the OP I used to write my own articles as well as sell sets of PLR articles when first getting started. I now outsource most all of my writing from members right here in the Warrior Forum... Cheers, Dean |

Hi Dollface,
PLR is Private Label Rights. You can do a google search for free PLR and you will find articles already written on any number of topics that you can claim as your own. Use it on blogs or other stuff. No copyright issue.

caspert69 on HubPages As someone else also said too. Outsourcing is a wonderful thing. I my self am not much of a writer but I can get some good articles out there and get good traffic to my sites from them. Maybe I am just lucky though. Good luck to you hope you figure it out before your business or website suffers.

Since you do not have money to outsource, you will have to use alternatives or get used to it--practice at it, that is until you make enough money to outsource. Try Odesk for outsourcing options. In fact, make enough money there providing your own talents to be able to afford an outsourcer.

Do it anyway. I hate writing articles about most subjects to, but I currently have over 900 live articles with ezinearticles.com and many more on the way. If you want to make money online and you don't have the money to outsource or do PPC, this is the only way to go.

It appears to me that writing articles, although something you say you hate, could be just what you secretly want to learn to do. Grab a book, a writing course or something...and conquer this thing.

I'm sure it's been said before, but as long as you love what you write about, you shouldn't mind writing about it one bit.

1) Pay someone else to write articles for you
2) Find a good set of PLR articles that apply to your product. Freshen them up and make them keyword rich. 3) Create an outline for the articles you want - and hire someone to provide the "filler" js |
