Hey Guys - I'm looking to do some editing for a few videos and wondering if there's video editing software out there that's free and is decent. Do you know of any? If not free, I'm more then happy to pay $40 or so for some software, but I just want to get reviews from my fellow Warriors. Thanks! - Adam |

You can get Vegas on a 25-day trial. Fully functional trial. It's under $40 to buy it anyway and it's really good stuff. Pinnacle has a trial version as well. I think it is fully functional but not sure. I use Vegas. Windows Movie Maker is considerably more limited and a pain to work with in some respects. VirtualDub is opensource. Limited support. I have played with it and it seems solid. |

Use Windows Movie Maker for the edition process. It's good. However the output format is always WMV. If you need a different format use ANY VIDEO CONVERTER FREE to convert the file. It's free and better than many paid converters. Just google it.
