Anyone using GetResponse?

Hi.

I may be the first person who is planning to move from aweber LOL

I came across GetResponse and they seems to be as good as Aweber.. There are few things that I do not like with Awber and I guess GetResponse would be a good option in that case.

Okay here is my question.

Lets say, I have 2 lists for
a) Silver members
b) Gold members

Now when Silver member join my site they are opted into my list for silver members, they have to confirm their email for double optin process.. thats fine.

But when the same member upgrade to gold membership, I have to put him into the other list which is for Gold members

Now we all know with aweber, this person has to double optin again which some times frustrating.. because lets say Silver member join, he is put into list, he receive confirm email..... and he buy OTO of gold membership at the same time.. and he get another confirm email from aweber .. so with Aweber, this guy has received 2 emails with confirmation link.. got it what i mean?

So my question is does this happens with GetResponse also? I just had talk with someone at GetResponse and the person said the Gold member does not have to double optin again and they would unsubscribe him from Silver list.

Is it true?

2nd.. Do you have any problem with them.. anything, like delivery issue, spam complaints etc..

If you use automation rules, you could keep them from having to opt-in in to gold. I think move on sale does it.

GR allows single opt-in and also lets you transfer subscribers
to another list with no hassles and no confirmation from
    the user. Deliverability is excellent.

Getresponse is very good. If you cannot afford Aweber, then you can get it.

I have both GetResponse and Aweber. I think both have their pros and cons. I think aweber has much better choices for easy form code (to insert on your webpage). On the other hand, GetResponse does make it easier to move subscribers from list to list.

To be honest, I've been with Aweber for several years and I'm new to GetResponse. I only got GetResponse because of its built in function with DLGuard. Whenever a customer buys, he or she is automatically subscribed in DLGuard with no confirmation required since DLGuard captures and passes the IP info to GetResponse.

So far though, I like GetResponse a lot and think it is an equal rival to aWeber.

    Great..

I have been aweber for 3 years now.. I am still with their old pricing so its affordable

But my members do not like getting double optin msg whenever they upgrade.. I have a squeeze page, and 3 level of paid membership .. so a person would have to double optin 4 times LOL
