BEST Conversion Tracking Software?

Hey warriors-

I'm sure there are threads discussing this, but as you know, what's working well changes all the time!

I'm looking for user friendly software that tracks impressions and clicks, but also tracks sales and UPSELLS - so I can calculate total revenue down to the individual ad.

With that said, I'm doing a big media buy today, but these guys can't give me a tracking pixel.

So I need to track all of my banner ads on my side...

I've already tried stuffed tracker, and link trackr, but had problems tracking SALES on both, and neither software had good support.

I have Google analytics, but getting cross domain ecommerce tracking fully functional is a nightmare.

Does anyone have a LEGIT, turnkey, conversion tracking solution that they recommend?

Your suggestions/insights are MUCH appreciated!

Thanks!
Julian

I've tried google analytics, getclicky, and prosper202 without much success. Currently I'm using something called the Wordpress Affiliate Platform plugin. This works much like Clickbank's affiliate tracking system. You can track sales by the click, simply by putting the affiliate extension on the url.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but it's the best sales tracking solution I've come across so far.

      Hey mentalist -

I actually use Infusionsoft as my shopping cart, etc.

How would I go about using it to track my own individual banner ads??

      Peace,

I hire people to do a lot of the technical stuff but I believe they did something along these lines of what's posted here:

Using 1ShoppingCart and Infusionsoft For Ad Tracking | TEAM 4 Hire

        1. Create an affiliate program specifically for ad tracking
        2. Create a "person" for media outlets
        3. Make those "persons" affiliates

If you can, I would recommend you hire guys to do Infusionsoft so you can focus on bigger things for your business.

I don't want to pay each month. How can I get the "old" script to install on my domain?

Salesforce is what I believe to be the best option to go ahead with. The conversion tracking along with the revenue calculation being a part of the game.

Hi Judarican - As far as i know, there is not such a platform out there that will do all the described tasks under one roof.

TrackingDesk track ppc/ppv/sem, but doesn't support display (unless you just want to track the clicks). So some of our advanced users have integrated TrackingDesk with ad servers and it seems to do wonders - with full tracking/upsells/conversions being reported on both platforms.

let me know if you'd like me to put you in touch with one of our users.

I know this post is kinda old but since I found it on google I suppose others will too. The best software out there right now is Conversionfly. Been using them since BETA and their support is unprecedented! Plus they really seem to listen to their client base when rolling out the next feature upgrades. I run all my Facebook ads through their API and see data in their sales section that I literally cannot get on any other site. Hope this helps someone else out there.

p.s. yes it does everything this guy asked for and more. It tracks cross-funnel sales, upsells, downsells, conversion %, leads and optins and a ton more.

Surprised nobody mentioned ClickMeter for this.

Allows you to install a pixel, track views, create tracking links to track clicks, and you can even track through to conversions on your site or your advertisers (if they install the code).
