The Ultimate Internet Marketing Success Formula - Plain & Simple But Not At All What You May Think!

I don't know any market where there are as many scams as in the Internet Marketing - Make Money Online niche. And pretty much all of those scams use more or less the same recipe:

Make Money Online Quick And Easy With Almost No Effort!

I lost nearly 2 years buying into the "quick and easy" promise. I bought quite a lot of scam products and honestly, it's not so much the money spent on those products that bothers me, but the huge amounts of time I wasted using all those useless strategies.

I'm convinced of one thing: There are no big secrets that will make you a lot of money. There are no push-button tools or miraculous WordPress plugins that will generate tons of free traffic and thousands in sales for you...

Those are all empty promises and they are only used to sell products.

Why do you think, someone who claims to have found the secret to easily make $10K a month while working only an hour or two a day goes through all the hassle of putting together a product, spending hours on promoting and marketing the product, recruiting affiliates, writing a 10-page sales letter, putting together all the affiliate promotional materials...

... and then selling this magic product for a few bucks on Clickbank? I would just keep on working an hour a day and make an easy $10k a month.

But how do you actually make money online and build a successful Internet business for the long run?

The ultimate success formula is actually very simple, unspectacular and straight forward:

* Pick something you are absolutely passionate about. That way you will never have to work, because if you pick something you truly love, all work turns into play and fun and taking massive action becomes easy.

* Provide value, value, value. That way you will never have to worry about money, because if you provide value, the money will always follow. But, you need to provide value first, it doesn't work the other way round.

* Build relationships with your readers, your subscribers, with other marketers in your niche... and give, give, give. Sooner or later, those relationships will pay off and translate into traffic, subscribers and sales.

* Let the entire world know what you have to offer - that's your marketing. Write guest posts, provide valuable comments on other blogs in your niche, build relationships on social media networks, invest some of your earnings and buy traffic... The key to success is again providing value and not spamming.

Take action - massive action. Create value in everything you do, market your stuff, let the entire world know what you have to offer. Don't be shy and don't worry what others may think or say...

* Keep on learning and educating yourself and take action on what you learn.

* Embrace your failures, learn from them, keep on moving forward, take one step after another, play and have fun, believe in yourself...

It's not as easy as A-B-C, it will take some time and effort, but it is not as complicated neither and in my opinion, the core pillars of:

Passion - Value - Relationships - Massive Marketing Action

are the only way to move forward and to succeed in the long-run. The old days of tricking the search engines, spamming, selling lies... are coming to an end.

Does anyone of you still make good money online without providing value, without building relationships... and working only a few hours a day?

If yes, did you experience a significant decline of your online earnings over the last 12 months?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Certain things worked in the past - like creating thousands of worthless backlinks to improve search engine rankings... but those things never last.

Personally, I think there are big secrets that will make you a lot of money. It's just not as easy to make them pay as most people (selling you something) will lead you to believe.

For example, getting JV partners with a ton of customers to promote you will probably blow your traffic stats out of the water.

The whole problem then becomes how "easy" everyone touts it to be to get said joint venture partners, when it's not really that easy at all.

The things you have to do to get them on board is a big difference from how it's usually laid out to you. But what do you expect from sales people?

Then the other thing is media buys. Personally I haven't been able to purchase the type of media I want yet and make it profitable. Just little experiments here and there.

But I think if you nail it, and you can convert your media buy into leads, and you got a sales funnel that converts really, really well, then you can buy that stuff all day...

And turn money hand over fist.

But it's just the gap between where I am right now and where I want to be that's somewhat annoying because we all want instant gratification right?

But I believe those are big secrets that will earn you a ton of money. If you play your cards right. The more you make, the easier it gets.

Oh, and, build a customer list. Of course!

    Marc

PS. I'm not a big fan of content marketing strategies, but since I have almost always made money with them, they tend to be the fall back. In which case everything you said totally applies.

To me they bear a striking resemblance to HOMEWORK. But they work. So I do them. Hence you see me doing things like responding to your thread.

It's not because I'm some warm and fuzzy guy. It's because it results in money. To me, giving value is such an obvious thing. It's like the constant caveat. Always beating the dead horse.

Clearly if you don't provide value you're hosed.

Getting quality JV partners on board is all about providing value and building relationships. I'm 100% sure, there is no "secret" or sneaky trick out there that allows you to get people like Mike Filsaime or any other big marketer to promote your product.

I absolutely agree: Paid traffic is a fantastic way to grow your business. But, again, there are no tricks and secrets to convert paid traffic into sales and/or subscribers and to get a good ROI.

Paid traffic requires a certain learning curve, lots of testing and tracking, providing great value so that people subscribe and buy from you, building relationships so that people buy from you again...

You can turn it left and right, up and down... but making money online always comes down to the same principles and basic fundamentals: value, relationships, learning, testing & tracking...

And once you have all of that in place, you can use certain "secrets" and cool strategies to automate various tasks, to keep on improving your ROI...
