whats a good price for a WSO now?

what's a good price point for a WSO now?

My last WSO was a success. I saw enough sales to make it well worth my time but feel I could definitely capitalize further by reaching low-end customers.

I have a new 'how to for dummies' type of ebook WSO offer that will be as direct as it gets, step by step. I'm wanting to keep prices favorable by all.

WIth that said, as a seller or customer, whats' been the price range you have been targeting for WSO's here?

Thanks.

I think the $7 price will always get the people who are really interested. Anything above $10 makes most people read over the sales copy more than once. Although if you can show or prove the value of your product I think the price point can be what you want it to be.

That's a good question. Right now I'm noticing a fall off in conversions as I approach $18. But I have a product that's different than the typical make money tomorrow pitch.

I think I actually sold more at the $14-15 range that at the lower price points. Still doing a lot of testing on that. I did this after all with no traditional proof or delayed sales funnel.

$7 still sold easily though. But obviously we want to approach those higher price points without pricing ourselves out of the market. At least for early adopters.

As for me, it should change dramatically soon. Got flooded with testimonials after only selling 15 products. So I consider that a good sign. It helped sell the next bunch a ton.

    Hope this helps!

    Marc

PS. If I was just doing pure lead generation and that was my goal, I would probably stick to $7. Or maybe even less to lower that threshold. But that's hard when what your selling is worth so much more.

Probably do this with future offers.

    Great information guys. Thanks.

I was thinking I wanted to price mine under $10 with my new guide for YouTube. It will be a newly revised, step by step guide on how to get videos to go viral in 2013 with needed resources.

I'm hoping to launch this offer within the next week. Would love any assistance possible to make it a great success.

My last question, is it reasonably possible to sell 1000 copies here at $6-$7 ?

    Thanks for your help.

      Possible? Yes.

But it will take a lot of support from affiliates. I don't think anyone who has just listed a product in the WSO forum and done no further promoting will ever have come close to the 1,000 mark. That amount of sales requires a lot of support from other people promoting it for you.

Under $10 is an easier decision. I find it that way anyway and I am sure many others think the same way.

Depending on the amount of content and the type of content (ex. videos + pdf + mindmap), I would say anywhere between $7 to $17. If you content is particularly strong you could sell at $27, but you would want lots of reviews and testimonials.

It really depends on the quality and quantity of information. Would a four page document be worth $7? Well, actually, it really might be, depending on what's inside those 4 pages!

But to break down each price point in my own mind.....

If you can teach me a few new skills in a "hold-me-by-the-hand" fashion and lead my horse to some water, then that's a no-brainer for $7.

If you can get a serious newbie IMer to see a couple of returns from tricks you've laid out, in other words, if you can get my horse to drink, then that's worth $17.

If you are rather confident that a new IMer can make legitimate money with your system... if you can get my horse refreshed and off and running down the trail again, it's worth $27

And if your system can actually get my horse into the kentucky derby where I can make some serious money and get some stud fees, then that's worth quite a bit more... but it'll come down to my trust of you as a marketer, your track record with other horses, and so forth.
