Is it really possible to write 300 articles per month?

Some people have claimed that they wrote this much article in one month, some people claim even more.

They also claim that it changed their lives. They say that after doing this, the money started pouring in.

I just have a slight problem in believing this. (not the part that money can be made in article marketing, it's a proven business model)

I know that given the proper motivation, we can write quickly. An example is forum posting. Some forum post can already be articles.

But if you focused on writing 300 articles for a single product in a month, where will you get all of the ideas for 300 articles? Wouldn't the articles sound similar if you do a marathon.

I'm serious about this topic because a lot of people claim that their lives changed due to article marketing.

I guess that with enough planning, motivation and time you should be able to write 300 articles per month. As far as how unique the content goes, I would have to say that unless you really know what you are talking about or you have done a lot of research, the articles may contain similar information.

However, if the idea was to submit all 300 to a single article directory, you could always do something like: pick 30 sub-topics of your main topic, put 2 different spins to each sub-topic and then re-rewrite each different article 5 times.

Remember that even if the articles are somewhat similar in content it is very unlikely that the same person will read all versions of your articles.

I don't think this is necessarily easy, but if you "begin with the end in mind" and you plan well, you might pull it off.

You have a very good point there. But still, it needs a lot of time to research on the product, if its something that you've been only introduced to for a couple of months.:-)

      just my thoughts.

Anything is possible if you put the time and dedication to it. 300 articles would be achievable if 1) you did it full time or 2) type really fast!

Working on it full time or having the time helps. The bum marketing method that was popular indicated for results you should aim at writing 10 articles a day or more.

I think it is very possible.

I did not put out a lot of effort and had 197 done for April. So adding 2 or 3 more to what I had done would get me to 300 per month.

It will require a lot of motivation and dedication though. You have to keep focus on your goal and continue even if you don't see any sales coming in because they will soon come.

Its possible you would have to write about ten a day for a normal 30 day month. However this would kill the niche you are trying to target just my experience. You are better of only putting out 100-150 articles a month with adequate keyword research done. This will get you around 200 back links alone for your niche site. So would also get you a good spot in google rankings.

Depends on the person and their motivation, as well as a product. Like you said, many posts are like an article themselves (300 words) and surely, there are tons of people (in im and general forum users) who make 10+ posts a day.

So, I'll go with yes it's possible, but chances are you will burn out writting so many articles. Besides, if the money is coming in, why not outsource the articles.

How would this "kill" the niche you are in?

Here is what I have learned from writing a lot of articles when I first started out. Once you get involved writing on a certain niche, it becomes very easy to write on that subject.

It is almost like I have more ideas on different ways to go with each article that I can write about.

Some people think it takes an hour to write one article. That is absolutely insane. If you know about the niche it shouldn't take anywhere near that long for each article.

Here's a hint. Pick a niche you are interested and writing becomes fun.

It is doable for sure, just takes discipline

This is a very important point made here too... it is usually harder when you are thinking about it, but when you get into action, you tend to find that a lot of ideas begin to flow.

Over all, it also depends on the person and what you are trying to achieve... If you want to produce total master piece every time, then you'd have to work a bit harder, however with a casual writing style you could crank out a good number of articles daily

    Hi rapidscc,

I think it's possible to do this if somebody could be insanely disciplined producing 10 articles a day nonstop for a month.

But you got to ask yourself: do you really want to do this?

What will you really learn out of writing the same articles over and over again? There will be a point where all articles will sound dull and the same to you, and yet, you'll be forcing yourself to make up content for each "new" article.

Articles shouldn't sounded forced, as they probably would writing 10 articles a day, but natural when the interested reader clicks on the title.

A lot of people say it has claimed to change their lives. Of course it would! 300 articles a month is some feat.

But is it really changing the lives of other people as well?

I'd rather write 1 article that changes the lives of other people rather than 10 articles that changes the life of myself.

Sure it can be done - I remember a post in the old forum about a newbie who cranked out 800 articles in a 30 day period (I was looking for the link, but couldn't find it) but I think a better question would be "what's going to work better for me in my article marketing ... producing quantity or quality?"

I've done it a couple of months

But, in the grand scheme of things, 300 a month is nothing. A friend of had 40 articles go live last night with another 40 locked and loaded for monday morning.

Not only that, but he also has an article a day for the next month submitted for mass distribution, plus he is a member of article autimation.

If article marketing is REALLY your business model, then there are times in the process that you need to go balls to the wall.

Sure, it might seem like a lot of work...but, did I mention that he is making 5K to 6K a month from his efforts (net) and that he doesn't actually write any of the articles himself anymore?

He stopped playing around a couple of months ago and now approaches it as a business...and it is definitely paying off for him.

I really don't know what's so unbelievable about 300 articles - it's only 10 a day. A good writer should be able to do this in 2-3 hours. I was testing out a few new niches last month and I submitted 12 a day - all written and submitted in 3 hours. Of course I wouldn't do this every month because I prefer to concentrate on adding content to my own sites, but of course it's doable.

Definitely do-able. That's 10 articles a day for 30 days. But you gotta either have the time or you may have to outsource.

As for repetitive material, don't think it's bothered anyone before!

Another way of doing it is to split your articles up. So if you have written a 1000 word article, you could break it up into 3 seperate articles, part 1, part 2 and part 3.

    300 a month..

Possible?... Yes, and then some.. 300 isn't too many if your primary traffic generation is going to be article content.

Advisable?... No, I much prefer to outsource that content. That's my business though.

If you find that you can't outsource it.. you need to get writin'

    Peace

It depends on how long the article is and how many persons are really writing those articles. If it's only a 50-100 word article, i think one person can produce 300 articles a month.

I myself can't write over 20 articles a month. However there've been times I've got over 100 articles written from the same guy.

Its a matter of how seriously you take a job.

If you work the normal 8 hours a day with no sunday's off, you've 10 articles a day easily.

I find writing the articles easy enough but it's all the submitting that takes the time for me. I've heard that mass submitting isn't a good idea so I submit to around 10 directories manually phew! Does my head in

But yeah, the writing part I think is viable. If your articles around 300-350 words, it's really not that much. I think, however, if you don't like writing, don't force yourself to churn out hundreds of articles, give yourself an achievable goal of say around 5 per day and concentrate on other IM stuff too. That way your day will be varied and you won't feel ready to give up when you don't see returns immediately.

    Cheers

    Yves.

It depends on several different factors.

Wags could probably write 300 articles a day. :p

If you do too much too soon you could get burn out.

And you have to like it to a degree. Some ppl say they hate writing so you can't hate it. You would definitely have to be disciplined and manage your time well.

    How fast can you write?
    How much research is required?
Quality of articles-does it matter to you?
    How important is your goal?
    How many words are they?
Do you enjoy writing at least somewhat?
Can you manage your time so you don't use it on something else then realize you have an hour to write 10 articles unless you stay up all night?
