I have almost finished preparing my PLR pack which I will be selling as a WSO. I am onto the pricing stage and wanted to run this by some other warriors.

The pack is 100% Internet Marketing related content.
(MRR AND PLR RIGHTS)
It includes:
- 16 top quality eBooks on a range of IM topics.
- a promotional video for each eBook.
- graphics
- a tutorial on how to edit the books.

I have made sure they are top quality in every respect.

I have deemed $47 would be a reasonable price as a special offer considering the quality of the content.

Any thoughts on pricing or adding value would be appreciated.

You can definitely sell it for $47.

Do I think you will make many sales at that price?

    No.

The WSO forum is all about low prices. That's what your typical customer expects. It's not to say you can't charge more but take it from someone who has been there before, you won't make many sales with anything at such a high price point.

You are better off pricing it much lower, think below $20 and getting more customers into your funnel where you can then sell them other products you have. Your WSO should just be looked upon as a lead source to get people into your funnel where you can make more money from them.

You might also consider breaking it down into a smaller offering. Sixteen topics? That sounds like a lot to take in a once. I would be concerned as to the quality of the work.

Could you repackage it into smaller groupings, say, a "social media" bundle, with upsells for say, Wordpress or autoresponders or shopping carts, etc.?

[Caveat: I've been looking at, buying, and writing PLR all day so I may be a little tired and jaded right now.]

      Best wishes on your WSO,
      Anita

Hi thanks for all your advice so far.

I missed one important part, I was thinking of making this exclusive. That is, only 10 copies available. Ever.

Well you could charge more for that exclusivity.

My obvious question though would be why do you want to do all of that work and limit yourself to only making $470 from it?

The reality is most people who purchase your product won't do anything with it so those who do actually use it still won't have to worry to much about your product being saturated.

Fair point. I dont see me finding the volume to make $470 off $7 sales though.

As I said above though, a WSO should be looked upon as a source of leads and customers. It's not what you make on the front end that matters it's what you make from those customers on the backend.

A lot of the top marketers give away all of the profits on their front end to affiliates because they realize the real money is in the backend and lifetime value of those leads.

You are definitely going to get more buyers at a lower price point.

I've done some outsourcing coaching in the past. Perhaps I could offer extra PLR and a coaching/mentor service on the backend.

If you priced the package at $17 then you would only need to sell 27 copies of the product to make $470. That's not many copies at all. Plus you also now have 27 buyers on your list as opposed to only 10.

Outsourced to an american college student. Perfect grammar and super-informative.
