Paid Surveys? Has anybody made money?

I saw this affiliate product that I see a lot of people promoting. Get Cash For Surveys

Has anybody made money using surveys? Not pennies but real money?

If you have decent money, what websites have you used?

Yes, I made real money with surveys.

I made about $30k in one month by advertising a cash for surveys offer.

What I did was buy a text link on a major news web site. The ad did cost $4,000 and it brought in about $34,000.

So, cash surveys work if you promote them.

I do understand that your question was whether you can make real money by filling out those surveys. Yes, you can make money. Yes it is real money (not fake ). But it is not in the range that any sane person could claim to be living from it. I would estimate that you can make a couple hundred bucks per month if you work it full time.

Some people do this kind of stuff for hours every day but they would be sitting on the couch and keeping their tongue warm anyhow. It can be a nice little side income but if you want to make real money you might want to look into how to promote one of those offers as an affiliate.

It is very difficult to make good money with survey sites. At best pennies to dollars to points for prizes. One of the very best survey sites offers $4 per survey and each survey takes a decent amount of time and that is probably the best survey site. Yes there are survey sites out there and many are legit but not a lot of real cash to be had.

On the other hand focus groups can pay decent bucks but that is a little different than what I think you are referring to.

Well, I tried but in the mean time they stopped selling it directly and it would go through an ad agency and would cost $15k and that seemed too risky for me at that time

Ah that is a great idea. But the product you promoted, was it a clickbank product?

You can make some, but it is really not worth it.

You can definitely make money promoting surveys to newbies, but you aren't going to make much doing it yourself.

Be very careful if you try it. There are all kinds of nasty things like forced continuity, insane "restocking" fees and other fun stuff.

    It's a suckers bet.

I don't believe that for a second. Let's see some proof.

One can make some but it requires some effort and time invested on it.
The returns may not really be measurable to the input ?

I honestly wouldn't waste your time, nobody can make decent money taking surveys...

IT's not a business, people are likely better off donating plasma... the only person making money with surveys is the person selling the ebook

I've made money taking actual surveys and still do. I actually paid for my hosting today using the money I got from one survey site I belong to. I'm also expecting a few payments from other sites (one for $11, one for $50, and another for $40). It's just chump change but every little bit helps. If you can join 5-10 good survey sites, the little earnings can add up. But I will admit, it's not going to appeal to everyone. Some surveys pay poorly, are boring, and can be very time consuming which deters many away from the opportunity. I chose to keep at it, although not on a regular basis, and I enjoy some of the perks that come along with this opportunity (getting freebies, taking high paying surveys, and most importantly - getting paid).

But the real money isn't in taking the surveys themselves but being an affiliate of a survey program. If you are good at promotion, you can earn big bucks helping these survey companies get new leads or new members to their paid membership program. I don't do the latter since most of those programs are BS, deceptive, and have high refund rates but as for getting survey companies new leads, I know that there is good money to be made doing that.

Says the girl with the "make money taking surveys" link in her signature.

I've tried it before, and had quite the OPPOSITE experience:

Get Paid To Take Surveys? What a joke!

Yes you CAN make money, but it's pennies not dollars, it's $1-$2.00 for a survey instead of $25 or $75 like they promise you.

Don't waste your time folks, trying to TAKE the surveys or as an affiliate of those programs.

I used to do surveys just for "fun" I made about $18 and did about 3 hours of boring surveys all up. I actually didn't even get paid because I didn't make enough to make a withdrawal. There are much much better ways to make money out there than filling out surveys!!

Spend hours and hours filling out surveys to make pennies and sometimes not even pennies, but just reward points where you can "buy" useless crap that you don't want.

Or better yet, become an affiliate and get other people to waste their precious time trying to make money from surveys.

its not really worthy of your time. I'd rather recommend you do affiliate marketing if you want real money or sell your own product online.

Taking the surveys your self could be time consuming, but their are ways of bending the rules. Pay someone $0.11 cent an hour to log into your pc and fill the surveys on your behalf.

I took surveys back in 2011 and part of 2012. The problem was that I could spend 40 minutes taking a survey, and if I answered a question that showed I was not a part of their demographic, they would stop the surveys, and I would get nothing.

It took about 6 months, and I made 90$ from one site and $20 from the other...

Unless you promote the heck out of them, I found them not worth the time. I'm going to take a look at "Get Cash for Surveys" mentioned above though.
