Automating Lifetime Visitor Value Tracking?

I'm interesting in doing better tracking for my products (and also 3rd party products).

I currently use Digital Access Pass, so I can see total affiliate clicks, total sales and various other data. I run Google Analytics (so I can see total visitor numbers) - but I don't yet use any features like conversion tracking/goals/pathway analysis.

I've got half a dozen products running in the same DAP installation. Each of these has its own squeeze page, autoresponder series, sales page etc. If a user signs up to one squeeze page, they eventually get cross-promotion to all my other products. I also promote some affiliate products.

What's the best way to track all of this? What are the key stats I should be tracking?

The way I see it, at the top, I can look at total traffic to all of my sites in my DAP "hub" - measured against total sales of my products + affiliate product sales. I can already do this pretty easily by manually looking at sales volumes in DAP, manually looking at visitor numbers in Analytics and adding in the revenue from affiliate promotions.

This gives me my total lifetime user value average - but its not a very useful number. I have a real mix of customers - they may have seen products in a different order - received different offers etc.

A lot of this data is recorded in DAP, but I think it would take custom database queries to access it.

It would be great to be able to query:
What's the total lifetime value of users that buy "product A" first?

Then by getting the total visitor numbers that hit the "product A" squeeze page, I can see the average value per click.

I guess something similar can be done with analytics or other tracking tools? How do people do it?

The downside is that people might clear their cookies and a single user might be tracked as two.

Any tips appreciated! Thanks!
