Hi, My name is Susan Bridges. Yes, I'm a newbie affiliate marketer. After 28 years as a telecommunications consultant and 10 years of operating a telecom business, I have decided to make a career change. Can't see myself ever working for some one again.

I discovered the affiliate world. I have been researching and educating myself since July 8 and am looking for any thoughts on how to become successful and make a living doing this. All inquiries welcomed.

    Start simple. Read everything you can on this forum. Don't rush out and buy a load of stuff that promises the Earth.

    I suggest you get a notepad and dedicate it to this forum.

    Break it down into sections.

    Website Creation (Mini Sites, Squeeze Pages, Hosting etc)

    Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

    RSS

    Traffic Genertaion

    Merchant Accounts

    Etc.

      There is a lot of different ways to market as an affiliate. Different strokes for different folks.

      What you need to do is find out the various ways you can market as an affiliate and find a method that you find desirable.

      After you find a method that is desirable to you, then simply search out all the detailed information that you can find about that particular method of affiliate marketing.
