Question on Amazon Links

INTERNET MARKETING

I was just checking both my own pages and others who have affiliate links to amazon that use the picture of the book. It seems that I will see the affiliate's username in the link when I mouseover the book , but if you look at the little grey picture that says "buy from amazon" it doesn't seem to have the username of the affiliate but goes to shopping cart without tracking. Is that correct or will it track if someone purchases using that grey icon?

It's all one image, isn't it?

The links on my books have the page and when I check the links clicking on the grey icon, my affiliate code is in there.

  I don't think it's one image because when I go down and scroll over the grey button it doesn't have all the code that it has above when I mouseover the book:
