How do you structure your business?

Sorry if the title doesn't explain this well. I am wondering how you would set up your business for tax and government registration purposes. In Australia we can operate a business as a sole trader, company or partnership.

Do you register each of your business names? Then operate of a single parent company?

Operate as a sole trader?

Operate as a company with multiple websites?

Or don't have have a business registered?

    You definitely need to register if you generate income on the internet to pay your taxes.
    I operate as a sole trader under a single trade name because that way I don't have to register at the notary and it is much cheaper. (here in the Netherlands no capital requirements and it will only set you back 11 euros to register )

    But on the other hand if you don't want to be personally liable for bankruptcy I would go as a legal entity
