Hi,
I have two websites both in the health niche. One is adsense/amazon and the other is purly amazon. I bought privacy policies from termsfeed.com and I got the free version of the terms and condition agreement. I also read that I had to disclose that I'm an affiliate so added some text in the footer of my websites but realized it most likely was affecting my ranking so I looked for a disclaimer page "generator" or writer so I could have a separate page for the disclaimer and just link to it but did not have much luck. Do you guys have any recommendations? Also could you guys clear up what exactly the requirements are from the FTC for disclosing that I'm an affiliate? From what I've read it's not enough to just have a link at the bottom of my page to the disclaimer?
Thanks in advance!

A privacy policy is not enough. You need to clearly indicate that you are an affiliate to comply with FTC requirements. In addition, Amazon requires it's own affiliate disclosure. I would suggest posting it in a visible place on your website. You can add the section about Amazon to your FTC disclosure....

"[Insert your name] is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to [insert the applicable site name (amazon.com, amazonsupply.com, or myhabit.com)]

so i dont need a disclaimer, all i have to do is post this visibly on my site(s)?[Insert your name] is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to [insert the applicable site name (amazon.com, amazonsupply.com, or myhabit.com)]

I've looked at other sites and what they did was they made a separate page for the disclaimer then made a hyperlink at the bottom of their site next to terms and conditions and their privacy policy. Is that not enough? Should i do that and post the amazon disclaimer on every page?
      Thanks

My only concern is that having duplicate content on my site will be bad for my rankings.

There are probably tens of thousands other websites using the same disclaimer so I wouldn't worry about it.
