How to get WSO supper affiliates?

I have spent 4 months putting together a program that I feel is very good. I have built numerous successful offline businesses and a few successful ones online. My biggest hurdle is building the relationships online that have made me successful offline.

I would like to attract the super affiliates that have big lists and know how to market them to help promote my upcoming launch.

Can anyone offer any good advice on building these relationships. Unfortunately I would need to build them fast I am trying to launch on 1 July.

Has anyone tryed sites like wso scout and if so can you recommend any that are worth the effort.

Any good help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

If the product is really good and converts well then many affiliates, including super affiliates will be attracted to it even if you don't have a relationship with them. In the end what they really want is to make money and if they see that they can profit from product, they will promote it.

As an affiliate marketer I look for the following.
      1. A quality product. If I would buy it, then my list would buy.
      2. Product Support - Support has to be top notch.
      3. Have available a review copy. I won't promote a product I haven't really used.
      4. Vendor should have a marketing toolkit for affiliates with swipes and banners.
      5. Skype contact - Every vendor I sell for I have on Skype.
      6. Landing Page cannot be over hyped or bland. If I am sending traffic, then I want it to convert.
      7. The vendor site and product needs to be 100% uptime year around. I wont mess with a limited 7 day sale.
      8. Checkout page - Sometimes affiliates cover all the basis of the product and would forgo the landing page. This helps give the appearance that the product is provided direct from the affiliate site and also cuts down on traffic loss by redirect to the landing page.
The most thing I hate are dead links.

Should I launch the product without affiliates
I would guess that like always it comes down to sales copy but I would think that if the copy converts well even if the traffic to it is low the stats would entice the affiliates to jump in.

I guess what I am asking is should I just launch it without affiliates or should I wait till I have a few onboard and if I wait what is the best way to get affiliates.

I had some advice given to me that I should run a pre launch thread.

Always good to have affiliates on board, but you should focus on getting that epc up. Try doing a pre-launch to get the people who are window shopping, out of the way.

The fastest way to build a relationship with big affiliates is to promote for them, and bring in sales, they will notice the sales you bring in.

wow 4 months, better hope it sells.

the key is to create a high converting offer, then the affiliate will be attracted like a magnet

There's the problem. You can't rush relationship building otherwise it's not genuine. If you just try and force relationships for the sake of getting people to promote your product they will see straight through it and you will waste your time.

The reality is relationship building is just as important as your product. If you have no affiliates on board then it doesn't matter how good your product is, it will always be limited in how many you can sell. So ideally you should have started forging these relationships months ago when you started creating your product.

If your launch is in two weeks you have left it a little late. It's not to say you can't still get affiliates on board but just know the type of super affiliates you want are those who plan their promotions weeks ahead of time.

If you want to attract affiliates now then you just need to concentrate on making the offer as attractive as possible -- ie: make it an easy decision for them to promote it. This means offering really high commissions and having a funnel in place. If you only have a low priced front end product then very few decent affiliates will ever want to promote it. You need to give them the best chance to make money.

Chris Silvey hit it on the head with me. If it is a product I would buy, than I would promote it. Also, what he mentioned about affiliate promotional tools is also important. Good affiliates do not have time to originate this stuff. Their objective is too sell! My 2 cents!

I disagree with you on that. I would never use the affiliate tools provided. To me that is just what lazy affiliates do, not good affiliates. Good affiliates are the ones that create unique bonuses and do unique promotions. If all you do is copy and paste the same old promo material every other affiliate is using then you will be just like every other affiliate and people won't take any notice of you.

Don't be lazy. If you are expecting to make money from the promo and it's a product you indeed think is useful then take a little time to write or create your own promo. It doesn't take long to do at all. It's definitely not a lack of time that makes affiliates use those promo tools. It's just pure laziness.

I've had many affiliates promote my products over the years and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt it was always the guys who took the little extra time to do unique promotions that always killed it.
