How about using the search function in this forum? I know there is a recent thread that has more than 100 sites.

  The search feature of WF is a bit tricky when using keywords with several terms.

You can try USFreeAds.com. I get good traffic from that site.

Some blatant self promotion: Vendalism.com Free Online Classifieds gives you the option to cross-post your listing to craigslist (so you get 2 postings with 1 click)

Interesting, I'm so used to seeing phpBB used as an actual discussion forum, not a classifieds site. Would have never thought of that.

  The return on effort to post dwindles greatly for sites like backpage and all the others (compared to craigslist they all have like 1/100 of the traffic or something as compared to CL). I would seriously just try to master craigslist and possibly backpage if you're desperate.
  
  I know that craigslist changes a lot but I've gotten some pretty strong leads through my ads there. Backpage only equated to about 1/5 the traffic with nearly 5 times as many ads as i used on craigslist. Just do as much as you can to make CL work and you'll definitely see the traffic.
