Site Build It(SiteSell) is good for affiliate??

Hello. I just read an ebook here on WF and found this site. In this site you would get $75 as commission for each one year subscription sell to the customer. I don't know if its true or not. But I see the testimonials on the site from companies such as clickbank and adbrite who use their service. So want review of this site. Is it real that we can make money from this site? Cheers.

It probably is true its just affiliate marketing... I can't tell for sure unless you show me the site though.

    Hope this helps,

Are you asking for a review on a website but not telling us what website you're talking about?

The OP is asking about promoting SBI (SiteSell) as an affiliate, I think. Not very clear at all from his post, but from the thread title.

    Yes, it is.

You can promote it as an affiliate, and they do pay their affiliates reliably, and they're an honest company with a good reputation for that.

However, it's not necessarily easy to sell - this is the potential problem. It's rather old-fashioned, very expensive (for what it is), and although all its information/education is pretty high quality, and it's a good product/service, with the ever-increasing prevalence of WordPress, fewer and fewer people these days feel the need for it. Understandably, perhaps? (My own guess is that that's likely to continue, too - so it certainly isn't something I'd want to promote, myself, in spite of its high quality, good ethics, good information, and all the rest). Just my perspective.

I stopped promoting SiteSell products (the company behind SBI) years ago because their affiliate program is the most complex thing imaginable! I don't know if things have changed but back then the payouts were on a sliding scale and you needed to have shifted awful lot to get your full earnings. In addition, the SBI system is a recurring annual payout, but you don't get paid anything year on year unless you have made sales to new customers.

As I didn't want to promote their products any more I was effectively fined by not being paid out when existing customers renewed their subscriptions.

As Alex correctly said, SBI is very old fashioned nowadays and their are far better site building solutions, in my opinion.

Whether working as an affiliate or purchasing their websites, to me SBI was quite complicated and could be overwhelming. I know that Ken Envoy's mantra is to over deliver, but sometimes for a newbie being succinct may be a better fit.

Ironic, the one thing that Ken doesn't overdeliver on: payments to affiliates for their efforts!
