Innovate or Imitate?

INTERNET MARKETING

In IM there is a lot of focus on finding your niche and emulating others who make money online. Do you focus much time on innovating new ideas or focus on what has been done and is successful? Have you come up with an innovative and made it profitable?

I have a bit of a passion for innovative ideas, so far none have worked out but hey ill keep on going till they do haha

I will said focus on what has been done and is successful and it shorten the curve if you are a newbie. If you are an expert in your area, i will suggest innovating new ideas as you might find gem in them. my 2 cents

A school of thought is this:
Let others bring products to market. Let them bust down the barriers to entry. Let them educate the public. When the public accepts it. It's your turn.

You take their product, innovate, make it better. Out perform them. Dominate.
