My first serious exposure to a long sales letter format was Corey Rudl's Internet Marketing product that first came out. It was an awesome and powerful product, but I know there were others before his. That one just sticks out in my mind. He was one of the best!

I believe it was Mark Joyner of Aesop.com (back then) and Simpleology.com now.

I guess that's tough to answer, except for those of you who were online from the very beginning.

Now, if you're asking what the first one we remember being exposed to, and/or buying, that's a different story.

Though there were some before it, the one that pops into mind was by Graham Hamer (sorry, can't remember the name). I was pretty excited, and he had a pretty memorable guarantee, but then I discovered it was almost ALL about buying expensive (for me, at that time) back end products and subscriptions.

I'll try to dig it up on Archive.org as soon as I remember more.

    All the best,
    Michael

I'm not sure about ebooks, but I remember buying the first physical book on the subject I saw in 1995. It was this book:

"Marketing on the Internet" by Mike Mathieson. Don't know where Mike is now, but i owe that guy a whole lot. He helped give me a rudimentary understanding of things like usenet, mailing lists, html, banner exchanges, link swaps and other entirely foreign concepts. Because of that book, I was able to get my website up and start making money way before my competitors could even figure out how to log on to the internet.

      Here's to ya, Mike.
