I'm sure I saw someone offer a mentoring service last year (David Keith?). I can't find it now though. Did it not last? I seem to recall it was $$ for X time and questions involved.

There are literally thousands of people offering mentoring services like that-- just find someone who 1) doesn't suck, and 2) you get along with.

There are many ways to make money online so you got to start by asking which way suits you best. Do a little reading and research on the various ways and you will find many mentors available.

Some of the best ways to make money online is list building and affiliate marketing.

Do you really need a mentor? Think about it, the top mentors change tens of thousands of dollars. On the other hand, you could buy a book or WSO from a professional and only pay a few bucks. A mentor is obviously better, but reading books can go a long way in your education.

Look at how many people buy cheap courses and how many of them succeed. Go and then look at how many people pay for high end coaching and mentoring options and see the proportion of those that succeed.

It's all good and well to be cheap but if it's not going to get you anywhere, have you really saved any money?

Taking courses is like studying from head to toe while you only need is to count with your hands. Some advantages of mentoring is learning the mentor experience in the field and using them as your own to commit less mistakes.

I don't doubt that. It was a thread I was following last year and most of the seasoned Warriors seemed to give him the thumbs up. I may have got his name wrong though.

Honestly? I wouldn't mind talking to someone that's had some success, has been in the biz for a while and is willing to help out with feedback etc. I know a "top" mentor is out of my price range, but I've had my fill of the next big thing that so many ebooks offer. It's white noise now.

I'm not naive in thinking I'll find someone that will take me by the hand and lead me to my own pot of gold. What I would like is to cut through all the crap, fluff, hype and God knows what else that people drown in, and actually "talk" to a person(s) that can help out.
