I would think if you create your own product you will have the most success as opposed digging up someone elses dirt, unless you are a marketing genius and can craft a slick sales letter using the old material. I have done both and had much more suceess with my own product niche. Jim |

IMO you need to do some research first to see if there is a demand for the type of product as is. Then from your research, recraft the product , the sales page and rename it altogether. Most of the time with PLR products you only get part of what would make up a decent product. Regards Vince |

Most PLR products out there are in niches that are hard to make a profit from. I look at PLR as a great way to add bonuses to my personal product. It can also be a good way to test out a market before investing the time to create your own product. I would do the proper keyword research before spending any money or time marketing PLR as i'm sure you will discover most are not worth it. |

Assuming it's a decent product, I'd take the raw product, create your own salesletter and graphics, and charge a normal price (not just $10).

You can make great money selling PLR if you are selling quality stuff, but a lot of PLR is really poor quality with bad graphics and books that are too short or incomplete to be of any use. Just make sure you're selling quality stuff and that you put your own touch on it (spruce up the sales page, perhaps change a bit of the design if you are given the PSD files for them, etc). "Normal" pricing depends on your niche and the quality of the product itself.. |

Hi monitorit, Naturally the main essence is the quality of your stuff. So first you need to choose a proper niche, make some research concerning the wants of audience, need to rewrite the PLR material including not only headlines but paragraphs too, and implement some related picture or audio or video. This way you increase the perceived value of your ebook. If your information contained your ebook is incomlete in a given topic then it may be an advantage. If you sell that book to a targeted audience then the chance is bigger that they will be curious for the next instalment -- so they'll buy your next related stuff. You will gain credibility and make more money. Concerning the pricing, you need to make some research between your competitors, what kind of offer they have -- if your offer is better or weaker than theirs. This way you can decide on your price easily. Good luck, Sandor |
