    Ads swap?
Look for vendors/forum owners that have the same niche you have
Then make a deal to monetize your site.

Adswaps are free bud, he wants to know what to invest his money on maybe you were referring to solo ads instead of adswaps.

Completely agree with Copy Surgeon - your keywords are non existant, so virtually impossible to find.

I don't know how well SEO will work for you - unless it is slightly more targeted? On the home page I looked at you could buy a Lambo driving experience in Vegas alongside some "sex dice". I'm not sure that whoever would buy one would also buy the other.

Perhaps a more "groupon" style or marketing may work better?

I would definitely be leveraging twitter and fb much more (both fan and follower building activites).

Build a list, this will help you sending out offers.

      Good luck!

FB likes were more of a tester - targeted people who live in Seychelles and was 22c a like.
us was 58c but only tested $20

yeah, i havent looked much at keyword selection as was sort of planning to focus on FB assuming that seo wouldnt work for this, being so varied (id probably wan to use those sex dice after driving the lambo around the tracl !!)...but think i will go thru all the posts soon and redo all the keywords and increase the text description lengths a bit.

still very undecided on priorities of what needs doing, what i can do and what i need to outsource. i have time and basic seo knowlege but not sure of what to focus on..

    advice much appreciated

    cheers

the site is confusing? as in too many varied products and not a specific niche? sort of the idea so it appeals to many...hpefully there are enough products that appeal to most people?!

With $300.00 I would go with a good solo ad campaign. There are some great providers here on the Warrior Forum.

To the OP. Well $300.00 is not a lot of money. But I got start with that amount. However, it was years ago. What I did was buy a book by Perry Marshall about writing PPC ads. Build a squeeze page and test it for conversions.

Let me make myself clear. There are many ways to build a successful online business. You ask that question on this forum and 10,000 experts will respond.

Well the last time I check only one out of 10,000 is the correct. And I'm not saying that I'm the one. But if you want to build a business you need a squeeze page that converts. You can find places to test your conversion rate for 25.00 dollars a day.

Once you know your numbers (like 1 out 3 visitors opt-in to your squeeze page) then you are good to go, and you can position yourself as an expert because you can talk about testing. And that is the bulk of what we do.

I would invest it on Facebook ads.. I've had really good success with them, but I really know how to put them together too so maybe that's why.

and ill buy some more FB likes/adds
and try some of those other ads mentioned

confusing - in that there are too varied products? or you dont know what the site is? do i need a better intro at the top - like "cool hand picked gifts you can buy from 3rd party online stores"

thanks for the input...its taken a long time putting it all together so hopefully can make it work

I would invest in PPC (Bing Ads and Google Adwords), solo ads, blog advertising, forum advertising, high traffic websites, and Youtube advertising.

I would advice you put the money to marketing the site.
There are so may ways of doing that, you just need to spent a portion of that amount in hiring maybe an expert an IM coach to help you with promoting the site.
    Good luck!

It's all about knowing what to say and how to say it in order to attracts potential clients, so hire a good copywriter. The right content and some well chosen keywords can do miracles!

I would work out a nice funnel and test some PPC traffic.

You could easily turn $300 into $600 if you did things smartly, and had good systems in place, and then reinvest that $600 into more PPC ads.

Not easy to do, however, if it was, every man and his dog would be doing this IM stuff.

    Definatly doable though.

Remember to monitor and test. Often people spend on solo ads/advertizing/marketing but don't follow through with what works and what doesn't.

This may come as a bit far off but do invest in content for your site. Hire a quality writer to come up with 800-word "in-depth" articles and then have a graphic artist re-purpose your articles into slideshow videos and infographics. That way you make the most out of the content. The key here is to ensure you get great articles to re-purpose. You can use the content for long term SEO. Best of luck!
