Maximizing Kindle Sales With Creatspace and Audiobooks

Is anyone using Createspace or Audiobooks with your current kindle ebooks? I have been holding off doing this but I can see how I may losing quite a bit of sales by not diversifying into other formats like printed versions or audiobooks.

Can someone suggest a good resource for creating covers for createspace and to format my books.

Thanks,

TedK

I have 3 books on createspace and they account for probably 15% of my overall sales, though I've never done the calculations dollar for dollar.

I just put all three audiobooks on ACX so it's too early to tell what kind of revenue they generate but I did a royalty split so it cost me nothing out of pocket. So I figured screw it why not?

As far as creating a cover for createspace - you can just use your kindle cover. You'll need to put together a "print ready PDF". Createspace gives you a template to download and you just drag your cover over the dotted lines. Pretty simple if you have basic graphics skills. If not, just get a dude on Fiverr or WF to do it.

I'd go ahead and make the physical copies. It's a big boon for your reputation to say you have a printed book and you can send signed copies to key people. And if your book does well, you'll also make a decent enough amount of sales to justify the effort.
