Hi. I want to create pdf download link for my ebook as a gift for my subscribers. But I don't know how to create it. I don't have any knowledge of coding and I am redirecting them to my weebly so that they can download pdf from there. So can any one help me the easy way? Cheers.

    - Upload the .pdf file to your host and take note its url.

    - Create a hyperlink text on your weebly page for downloading the file, such as:
<a href="url"> click here to download your free guide</a>

    Hope that helps.

Is it necessary to host my pdf file to host. If I don't have one what should I do? Cheers.

    Hello,

First of all, zip your file then upload the file to your host.
    Then, the link will be:
    http://YourDomain.com/Folder/NameFile.zip
    (name folder maybe downloads)
You can create a hyperlink with this address and add to your page.

If does not work, check with your provider if the server is already set up to work with this kind of file. (.zip)

    Regards,

    Bill

    Hi Swatz89,

So you have the pdf and you just want to put a link on your thank you page to the pdf so a customer can download?

    1. Upload the pdf to your hosting account where you want it.

    2. If you have limited coding knowledge I would recommend you get some sort of html editing software like Dreamweaver. I assume you already have this.

    3. Now in your HTML editor just insert the text you want to link, like "Click Here To Download".

    4. Highlight the text you just entered and paste in the URL to the pdf in the link box. You can link a pdf just like you can link and html page. Example: http://www.yourwebsite.com/downloads/myinfo.pdf

    Hope this helps.

If you dont have a website to upload your PDF to your host you could also use amazon s3 cloud hosting to put your PDF into just google amazon s3 and use the s3 option to put your PDF into that lots of youtube videos on how to do that so I wont cover that here but that is an option in case you are not ready to get a website of your own.
