Free Google Approved Backlink For Every Post On Your Website

This is an easy-to-do, oft-overlooked way to get a highly-relevant, Google-approved backlink for every post or page on your website.

With every new blog post or new entry to your website, make a short 15-30 second video summarizing or leading-into the content of the post.

This can be easily done with your built-in webcam and mic on your laptop with software already installed on your device (Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, etc.)

If you can't bear to be in front of a camera, use a screen capture software to make a presentation or create an static image slideshow as a video.

A video like this will only take 5 minutes to put together. (15 minutes tops if you don't have a plan.)

After creating the video, upload it to YouTube with an appropriate title, description, and tags.

Make sure to link to the specific post your video is about in the first line of the description and in the video as an annotation.

Using this method, you can create a free backlink to each and every post you create. YouTube backlinks are fully Google-approved and do wonders for ranking new content.

No matter what Google says about "unbiased access to information" it prefers it's products over competitors' and it shows in the SERPs.

One person loading up with these worthless videos might fly under the radar. What will happen when dozens/hundreds/thousands of these 15 second promos start clogging up YouTube?

You know tha if there's even a sniff that this might work, someone will invent a tool to automate it. YouTube will slap the practice. People will whine about it until the next exploit is found, abused, closed and slapped.

As this crowd likes to chant, 'rinse and repeat...'

I appreciate the input John but you are thinking about it the wrong way. You can definitely make a useful video with a little planning and it won't take that much time to do.

A video that built value as a lead into your blog post would be ideal. I'm just reminding fellow marketers about this powerful tool.

If this kid can make a video like this and not get slapped. I think this method is ok.

For many people this is just too much work and too technical. Youtube backlinks are golden though and Google does tend to be a bit vain and in love with itself these days.

I do remember a tool a couple of years back that would create videos automatically from any article and I'm sure there's some sort of automated software out there that will post them to youtube etc... just sayin'

I don't doubt that someone could make a useful video. I'm questioning how many will, especially if this catches on as a method of creating large numbers of backlinks.

Look what happened to article marketing. People who created quality content used a glitch in the ranking algorithm to get both traffic and rankings from posting to article directories.

Then the exploiters got wind of it. It wasn't long before people were using spinners to create hundreds or thousands of variations of mindless crap that just happened to have their keyword in it. They then used software to blast this trash all over the net, to the point that the search engines had to do something about it.

        Enter the Google Menagerie...

As for the bored kid, I didn't see dozens or hundreds of these lame videos, nor did I see SEO'd links, descriptions, etc.

I'm just saying that you should enjoy this while it lasts. My crystal ball says this will join article directory marketing, free-for-all pages, link swapping, Usenet newsgroups, etc. in the museum of legitimate tactics spoiled by ruthless exploitation.
