I'm a newbie to internet marketing, where can I started to learn..?

This is the BEST place to start. Just peruse the threads and read any that you find interesting.

Also use the search function in the upper right portion of the forum screen. Search for terms that you want to learn about then scroll the thread titles until you find one that interests you.

I would also recommend joining the War Room (below) if you have a little bit of money to spend. You will find a wealth of information there and is better than almost any product you can buy.

You can find basically anywhere and it doesn't have to be limited to this forum. Just go to the search engine and type in internet marketing or top internet marketing forums and you'll be able to find information just about on anything. Discover, explore and learn!

Pick one topic or keyword that you want to learn about then do a search for that keyword on this forum. Then simply study all the posts for that keyword and read them over for 1 week, bookmarking sites suggested, taking notes, etc. Do this every week for a year and you'll have a nice base of knowledge, all for free.

Along the way during this study period, choose one of these topics and do something that will bring in your first dollar. could be a blog with adsense, or a site with ebay listings, article marketing, or a CPA offer - anything really. Just choose ONE method and don't stop trying til you earn some money.

If you focus on one thing at a time you'll be much better off than trying to do everything at once, then quit.

This forum is a great place to start. Also, it might help to know what's going on so you might find it beneficial to get on a few people's lists. Some of them offer good content and it will give you a chance to see what they're doing right/wrong for their subscribers. Then when you start your list you will know what to do and what to avoid.

Read everything you can find here at the Warrior Forum. Once you find someone here that you feel gives you quality information and great advice in a number of threads, look for a product they are offering as it will probably do the same on a much more in-depth level.

If you are new, i would first suggest you to read some good tutorials and good ebooks related to SEO, PPC and internet marketing by own.

Gather the basic knowledge first and then implement it and do some trail and error methods.

Hello newforhelp,
The only advise i will as a professional is to gain some knowledge before doing anything because majority of internet marketers will just collect your money and sell some ebooks for you which you get confuse if you dont take time.You should be able to know the real definition about internet business.Like i tell people, Internet business is not a new business but a new method of doing the same kind old business we all know.At the sametime is a new to reach your potential customers fast all over the globe.

Read as much as you can in this forum. List all the methods you learned. Pick one or two that interest you most or most feasible for you. Then stick to it, of course you have to tweak in between. Hope this helps

Hello Newforhelp!

I understand your frustration in learning how to make money online. There is no lack of information or of people telling you what can be done. But nobody tells you where to ACTUALLY start. There IS a process and it takes time. A set of skills you need to acquire, one by one.

You need to decide what type of product(s) you are going to market and you need to do some research to make sure there actually IS a market. You then need to build a LIST - people who are likely to be interested in buying your product. The best way of doing this is to create a simple one page website or squeeze page and offer something FREE in return for a name and email address - thats where you get the names on your list from.

Beware of anyone who tells you that you can make money FAST. This is simply not true. However, given time and effort on your part you WILL be successful!

Lots of good advice in this thread, but I would also recommend that you check out the free ebook section of this forum. There is a ton of free information to be found if you just know where to look.

If you are completely new, try to read the ebooks that deal with:

1. Website and Blog design and creation

2. Keyword research

3. Traffic generation techniques

4. List building

Try to learn those 4 things (or at least get a basic understanding of them) BEFORE you spend any money on any kind of internet marketing products.

WSOs are good (CAN be good), and reading on forums is good.

I see many "newbies" always desperately wanting to BUY something, like the latest fad IM coaching training - they're wiling to spend a lot in the hopes it makes them money.

Its my opinion that there are only VERY FEW good IM "courses" out there, and MOST revolve around the same basics all the time anyway.

Please..if you want to make money, dont START out with spending money on countless "miracle IM products" and coaching...rather spend some time reading here on the forum. My $0.02.
