Best exact interest to target fat women wanting to lose weight in facebook ads?

So, I've been trying to build Facebook fanpage audience using ads. I am targeting women who want to lose weight.

I learned that targeting "weight loss" in the exact interest tab would not perform well, as nobody is particularly interested in weight loss in their facebook profiles.

So, I decided to target "Women's health magazine", "Oprah", "Dr Oz" and other women health-related shows. The age range between 30 to 32.

I did manage to garner some audience but they are not exactly the type of women I want to sell my affiliate products to. The problem is that most of them are:
- fit
- sexy
- hot
- don't need any more help to lose weight

So, can anyone tell me what good "precise interests" to target fat women who want to lose weight?

I am thinking about putting in "hamburgers" and other fast foods, but I am worry I might garner fat women who want to stay on the couch and die single, overweight and lonely :|

Any ideas guys?

Go to sites such as Quantcast.com and look up the demographics of other sites that your target audience frequent. Find out who your typical customer is. Are they male or female? What age bracket? What education? What nationality? Don't just guess this stuff, go and find it out.

Once you are equipped with the demographics of your target audience you can then go back to Facebook and target your ads at those specific people.

I've never know a woman who just had a baby that didn't want to lose weight.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Or one who is planning her marriage - or a vacation.

Here's a quickie for you - check the demographics for sites that sell plus-size clothing. While not all of these women are actively interested in losing weight, I'll bet that a significant portion of them are.

Otherwise, as mentioned, look for women with upcoming events.

      Class reunions are another biggie...

I am a personal trainer so thought I would chime in here. Don't assume that just because a woman is sexy or hot that she does not want to lose weight. I have trained several women who I thought, "Why is she hiring ME? She looks fantastic!"

Moms are a great market to target. They are busy, they want to look good, and many have never lost all of the weight after having children (even if their last child is in high school). Most of my clients have been moms who just want to shed a few extra pounds and feel attractive again. I would try to figure out how to target moms in their 30s and 40s.

PS - "Overweight" sounds a little nicer than "fat."

What about women who are actively trying to lose weight? Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Curves, etc.

They are actively spending money in the market.
