changing domains

Hi,
I decided changing my domain name. theres only 1 article on the old domain but how do i put that article on my other site and tell google im just moving my site to a different domain? I think theres a tool for that in google webmasters tools but i dont know if it will do what i want.

    Does your site have any PR? Does it appear in search engines? Do you receive traffic?

    More than likely, with one article - probably not.

    So, I wouldn't worry about "notifying" google. Just post the article on the new site and be done with it.

    If you weren't getting a lot of traffic to that article, just put it in the new site and delete the old site and don't worry about it. If you were getting traffic, just do a 301 redirect in your cpanel from the old domain to the new domain. It's in the Domain section of your cpanel.

    Redirecting will be the best option for you. You will not loose the traffic regardless google knows about your new site now or later.
