Any heard of these guys? It seems they have created a lot of success stories with there students

Not cheap to join with them though, you need at least $2500 to gain reseller rights to high commission product

I'm assuming these guys work in a similar way to empower network

Never heard of them, but I would stay away from anything that works like EN...

Not sure I would pay any fee, let alone $2500 to be an affiliate to a product.

Why would you say stay away from companies like these?

        or

Would you rather sell your own product and make yourself rich?

the issue with some networks like EN is that the same product is being sold over and over and its basically a pyramid scheme which is illegal.

if you genuinely try to help people online and make 'making money' a secondary matter then good things usually follow. spend your time building relations with people who are interested in whatever you are skilled in. when the relationship develops there's a good chance you can get that person to be a customer of yours in the future.

Exactly. Don't be caught in the lure of Empower Network. It's just people selling things to other people and then selling the same thing over and over. That's like me selling you a car and then saying "You can get your money back! Just sell the car to someone else!"

There's no fundamental instruction or good practices.

These threads do tend to fill with more heat than light, it's true (not to mention the odd appearance of factual inaccuracies). Still, Vic's post just above is certainly an interesting one, comparing two different businesses on the basis of real experience in each of them, while having no promotional intent at all, regarding either.

Yeh hopefully they'll be shut down soon. That's not adding any value. I know a lot of people like them, though to me the only impression I have is one of a very annoying viral cult taking over people's minds and turning them into IM sheeple.

I cringe everytime I see another person promoting them or giving some content and then it end up just being something to lead back to them, being another "me too" cult brander looking to suck more people into it.

There's many reasons why I hate mlm, though that's the main one. I'm all for people being individual and unique and spending their efforts building their OWN branding, not building someone else's brand for them.

This isn't anything factual or legal or whatever against them, only my own bias.

It`s not a pyramidal scheme if you`re selling a real product, virtual or physical, or even a service. It`s a pyramid scheme when all you`re selling is the possibility of someone selling the possibility to someone who will sell the possibility of selling, if you get what I`m saying. If there's a product or service offered for that cost, it`s just a tiered affiliate sell, get your things straight.

Unfortunately this really isn't necessarily so, as can be seen from the fact (and it really is a fact) that there have been countless illegal pyramid scams eventually closed down by court order, which have had very real, very physical products. The matter is far more complicated than just that.

And that's among the reasons why it's so difficult for the public (and sometimes even for lawyers) to determine with confidence whether or not something's completely legal. And is why some things eventually end up being "tested" in court, sometimes after running for 2-3 years, sometimes even after longer than that.

I don't suggest that any of that applies to 6FM.

Yes, here you're quite right. It's not ok to be selling "the right to promote the business opportunity" and no more. But there the waters get murky, because of all the arguments about "products/services for your own use". Courts increasingly look, these days, at whether or not there are also retail customers (who are not distributors/affiliates) to determine whether or not that's so.

I'm no lawyer at all, but have actually discussed this with a couple. Empower, in my personal opinion only, is very high-risk to run into eventual legal problems. If there aren't enough (usually defined by courts as 70%) genuine retail customers using the blog service and/or any other products/services without being involved in the business opportunity, it will eventually qualify for adverse regulatory attention, for sure - just as so many other similar "opportunities" have done. These things often have a limited lifespan of typically a couple of years or so - sometimes less, sometimes more. Eventually they run on to the rocks. US courts apply what they call "the 70% rule" (precedent law/case law, but just as binding on a state court as a statute is, I think), and at some point the owners will presumably need to show that 70%+ of users of the service are genuine retail customers and not affiliates/distributors (and I don't, myself, see how they can ever hope to do that successfully?). My own understanding (again, this is a non-lawyer's comment, remember) is that 6FM isn't in this position at all, and it isn't even an MLM company, either.

It seems to me that even disregarding the interesting and doubtless highly relevant points made by Victor in post #17 above, this matter alone represents a very significant difference between the two businesses mentioned. Again, personal opinion only, of course.

And you're mistaken, I think. From what I've seen (I'm in neither but have had a pretty good look at both, and know people in each), 6FM actually has very little in common with EN!

You're conflating two different things, here. What you need "to gain reseller rights to high commission products" isn't the same thing as "what you need to join them". (And 6FM isn't an MLM company, by the way).

If you want some real information from an honest source who won't try to sell you anything that might not be suitable for you, I respectfully suggest a chat with Declan rather than topping up your already-maybe-inaccurate impressions with Warrior gossip from others with strong opinions but perhaps few facts. Just my suggestion ...

When ever you are working with a program or programs that cost you $2000+ to join and you can earn high commissions from your team's efforts, I would say that this is the way to go if you want to earn a lot of money online and fast.

EN is a great company. There are many success stories there. A lot of companies are still trying to copy what they do but are not as successful at Empower is.

      6FM doesn't.

That wouldn't apply to 6FM, Tal: it's been established longer than EN.

Not really. If you disagree with the morals and ethics of their business model, you wouldn't want to own a network like that, even if it makes a lot of money.

I joined Empower Network at the basic $25.00 per month basic recurring membership fee. After one month I left. It is an IM educational platform with an MLM compensation plan. It was not for me. I had been involved in MLMs in the past and I am not interested in that business model anymore. EN has all the trappings of an MLM including the constant hype and cult like indoctrination typical of MLMs. My position is neutral.

Six Figure Mentors is completely different. I was a member for three months. I had to discontinue my membership due to the fact that the recurring charges are very expensive and I could no longer afford them. It was the best money I ever spent on my IM education.

As in any intelligently designed sales funnel there is an upsell. Empower Network will bombard you with tauntings that you are a "woosey" for not getting "all in" at $1,650.00 upsell while Six Figure Mentors has exhibited the most professional. low keyed, factual educational vehicle I have ever experienced so far in my short IM career.

Get your education where and how you can. Empower Network is a system. Six Figure Mentors is an education.

PS: I am no longer an affiliate of Six Figure Mentors so I have no dog in this fight. I highly recommend this program for newbies. It is exspensive but worth the money.

For those who hasn't been in involved in Empower Network before, they'll teach you a lot of things and if you're in the right team, you'll learn a lot of things. It's not just a system, you'll actually learn marketing strategies so somehow, the $25 per month can be worth it for the education. Anyhow, you gotta be in the right team to get a good education.
