That's really cool Jeremy. I really like it. Absolutely love the purple, don't see a whole lot of brighter colors like this and I like the star burst effect on the text too. Tracy |

I hate to say this because I'm sure you worked a lot on it but since you did post asking what we thought, I'll give you my honest opinion... It looks kinda bad. Its just text and looks like you just threw it together with some kind of automated "graphic generator" program or something. Looks like something a kid would make for their myspace page. ok, now that I'm done critisizing it... LOL What it needs is some graphics. Something to look at besides just text. An animation, a picture, a logo or something like that would really make it stand out and give it its own personality. This would make it look MUCH more professional. |

Thanks for your comments I am working on a pic right now, But this was not made with any type of "graphics generator" but from scratch with Photoshop. I do agree that it needs something though! ![]() Jeremy

Jeremy, I think you're off to a good start. Personally, when I looked at it, my first thought was, "Yep, Jeremy is just starting this design", and so I based my opinion on that alone. Adding extra graphics once you get the "base" design down is pretty much cake. But, again that's my opinion and I'll leave it at that ![]() Tracy |

Josh, it doesn't look BAD, however it does need some work. Hi Jeremy... lol, that's one way to get my attention. I like the concept and it's going in the right direction... A few technical points: The reflection at the bottom needs to fade to black, at the moment there's not enough fade - if you know how to use layer masks, use one and play with a black-white gradient. If not, I'll show you how. If it were me, I'd put "tweek your tweet" inside a web 2.0 style badge to separate it from everything else. It could do with a graphical element, perhaps an artist's pallette or easel... The starbursts overpower the design a little, consider using just a 4 point star and a lot smaller. The "underline" doesn't work i'm afraid - I'd remove it altogether. As a matter of fact... I'm going to design a version of this for you - on the house. If you choose to use my design, great - it'll also give you a source file to learn a few techniques from. No linkback to me, nothing - just my 'new baby' gift to you. Deal? |

You're the exact definition of what me and my mates would've called a 'dude' back in the day. Jeremy - congrats, a new bundle of joy. Well done, Sir! Steve
