No one relies on CPM anymore?

Hey guys,

Just wondering why no one is ever talking about CPM anymore? I used to have a website that made good money from that.

What are the current CPM rates out there on average? I used to get 2-3$ CPM.

      It was a car website. A community/information source.

      I'm working on a fitness website right now and should generate at least 300K unique monthly visitors.

      With that kind of traffic, what kind of revenue should I be expecting if I sign up with a adnetwork? Just need to know if it's worth building a site like this and if my traffic could at least cover the costs of my servers.

    Most sites running CPM ads seem to be pricing it for corporate branding. For me it's easier to use content network instead of contacting individual sites.

    With some few exceptions, CPM is a very bad deal unless you're doing branding. And even then, there are more efectives ways to do it.
