How can one protect an online seminar?

I want to produce my live, high-priced seminars for online viewers. However, I'm curious how to protect the content from:

- Downloading videos
- Downloading the audio
- Sharing login information

Are there any apps that will assist in protecting my content?

Once something is downloaded it can be shared, but if you just want to protect the downloading part, you can always have expiring links. You can also do things like block a login if it receives too many requests from different IP addresses in the same day. This might be a good one for a programmer to do for you, though there may also be some pre-built apps that will do this for you.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

There is no 100% protection. If someone wants something badly enough, they'll figure out a way to get it.

The movie industry goes to great length to protect their property, but they can't stop the bootlegger who sneaks a video camera into the theater and records the film for later duplication.

The best you can do is use encryption, password protection, access control, etc. to keep the honest people honest.
