WP Update help please

Can any VPS savvy person help me with this please.

I have a VPS account with Hostgator and all my sites are built on WP. Is it possible to do a WP update from within the VPS account - or do I need to go into each site to update?

    hi dear friend
    i asked your problem from one of my friends that has vps
    and he said do manually it for security reasons

    how much sites do you have sites in it ?

    Try installing http://infinitewp.com/

    its free and once you set it up you can update your plugins and themes very quickly
