Link Popularity Check Tool

This tool will show you how many other sites are linking to you. Most search engines use this data to calculate how popular your website is. The more links to you, the better your search engine rankings will be. You can even provide some competitors' URLs to compare your site to theirs.

    I usually check backlinks on Yahoo. It's taken me years, but I'm showing a little over 10 million.

      This is another great site to check your backlinks...

      Link Diagnosis - examine your link competition

      It gets it info from Yahoo. Also shows keywords, anchor text, PR and whether it's a no or do follow link.

        I tried that one in two browsers but it is sort of sticking at the 5% progress bar.

          If you have over 10 million backlinks then it will take an awful long time to complete the scan. I'd probably say in excess of about 20 mins.

          Try it with a smaller site and see if it runs ok.

          P.S. it's not my site, I just use it a lot to check mine and other peoples sites for backlink ideas.

            You're right. I am at about 40% now. I'll try a smaller site if this doesn't work.

    I have to agree with Devilfish - his link checking tool seems to produce much more accurate and useful stats.

    Alexa says I only earn a 488,155 ranking, so I got some more work to do!

    Maybe a few of these new Squidoo Lenses I've been working on will help me crack 100,000 barrier I've set for the end of Q2.
