There are excellent ones and dreadful ones, as in many places. There are large numbers of people here making their full-time livings by marketing them, James.

ClickBank is just a retailer, not a product-manufacturer: in one sense, there's no such thing as "a ClickBank product". It's just "a product" whose vendor happens to be using ClickBank as a retailer and/or to handle the payments and affiliate set-up.

Virtual retailers are different from bricks-and-mortar retailers: customers don't "go to ClickBank to see what's for sale". And almost all the sales pages are on their vendors' own websites, anyway, not on ClickBank's website. (That's just starting to change a little, recently, though, because it's possible now for them to be hosted by ClickBank, too).

Clickbank is simply a way for people to serve as a way to accept payments while having the ability to have affiliates.

Therefore, there are good products, and there are bad products.

Many Clickbank products are created by clueless folks who just want to make money. All the "No More" products, for example, were created by the same group of guys who just copy content form Wikipedia and from other products in order to speed up their product creation. They use 100% fake testimonials and they even admit (inside the e-book, of course) that they're not experts in the topic. Those kind of marketers give everyone else a bad name.

Some products are amazing, by the way. Also, don't rely on online reviews as most of them are biased to make you buy the product from THEM.

How many of the 13,000+ have you seen, Daniel? Or are you drawing your conclusions based mostly on IM/MMO products, and totally ignoring about 298 other niches which have thousands of products sold through ClickBank?

I think we've all realised how much you're trying to raise your post-count today (though actually it seems to have been falling over the last hour or so, and there are doubtless reasons for that), but this comment's really scraping the barrel. And by the way it's wrong, too.

There are so many products on Clickbank that you can sell. All of the products that are sold there can be downloaded to your computer after you buy. That is what most people really like. They don't want to wait for the item to be shipped to them.

In terms of marketing some of these products, it is really simple.

You can redirect traffic directly to the product's site or you can create your own website and then direct people from there. You can even build your own list or buy traffic from other list owners.

How do you know their testimonials are 100% fake? Did they admit that inside too?

Generally, the "best" products will be at the top of the list when you sort by their "gravity" number. Well, at least they have the best sales funnels anyway.

Of course, no-one has seen ALL the products out there. But even if something has the BEST marketing and sales funnels to reach the top, I would struggle to see how they would stay at the top unless they were at least DECENT products. If they were total junk the refunds would be through the roof and affiliates would stop promoting them.

The product I've sold the most of as an affiliate is "Text the romance back" (earned close to $1000 in comms this year) and having looked through the product itself before hand, I came to the decision that it was good and I would have no problems recommending it to my email subscribers. And, by no coincidence, it happens to be around and about the top 10 dating/relationship products.

On another note, how are the Amazon products? How about the Wal-Mart products?

It goes down quite well and frequently

As for Clickbank products, like most other people are saying, make sure it's a good product that you're going to promote, not something that someone threw together just to make some money.

ClickBank was my first affiliate network I join when I start with my IM business 9 years ago.
I can say only all the best for ClickBank and I still using it. I still promote several product I find profitable and hot on the market like Paid social media jobs, Offshore rig jobs and of course, always hot Google Sniper.
For someone ClickBank is full of fake products but I buy several product on it and I'm so satisfied with them like Google sniper 2.0, Keyword Elite V2.0, Bookmark Demon (migrate to other affiliate network), Exit splash, Auto Click Profits...
All this products was listed on ClickBank and how can someone say it's fake products...
To do that you must not valuate other opinion but test it by itself. Like for lot's of people IM don't exist, for them make money on the Internet does not exist.
Take a look on my CB account and tell me if I'm right or not...

From the photo you can see I promote paid social media jobs offer and daily I make around 5 to 10 sales.

P.S. It's not the matter of quality of the products but in your way of marketing

Some products are great and others are great at being garbage. It depends on what you are looking for you should read reviews and see what others are saying before making a hype based purchase.

Think of it this way nobody on this side on not being brain dead is going to sell you a tool that will make you $100,000 for $37.

There are plenty of good products Olin clickbank. I've used a.couple of them personally; they were internet marketing products, and they really helped me out in my business. So yeah, I have no problems recommending them.

Just like any other marketplace, clickbank has its own share of horrible products too, but they've taken a lot of measures to get rid of junk products recently.

A number of big time marketers launch their products with clickbank, so I'm sure you wouldn't sully your reputation by promoting their products.

You just have to choose well. Look at their sales pages to look if would convert well. Also, you could buy the products yourself to check if they are any good. If that's beyond your budget, you could ask the product owners for a review copy; they might give you.

Clickbank has lots of quality products on there, but you need to actually do your research and/or purchase the product before you promote it. I promote some stuff on Clickbank but also promote stuff on other networks. Also, the networks you use have a lot to do with what niche you are in. Some niches are good for digital-info products while others work better with physical products. Some niches work with either of them.

    Good luck,
    Joey
