I am doing an SEO webinar but I am having trouble naming it.

What would you recommend?

I don't want to just write something like 101 SEO or stuff about learning SEO

This is because I've heard its beater to say the value so for exmaple, more leads for business owners?

But I just dont know what to call it.

  • How about "Straightline SEO"?

    The easiest way to name anything is to know what the result of the result is. Let me explain. People don't want to learn SEO strategies.

    They want to know what those SEO strategies will give them. An example would be "5 Critical SEO Strategies That Makes Google Put Your Site On The 1st Page."

    Or "SEO Slayer: 7 SEO Strategies That Kill It In The Google Rankings So Your Site Is Ranked In 72 Hours."

    Whether you are naming a webinar, book, video, etc., people want to know the result of what they are going to get by consuming your product.

      SEO Made Simple, especially if you are targeting people other than IMers, you definitely want to leave out the testosterone laden rhetoric

    Who exactly are you aiming your webinar at? I guess that it's website owners of some description, but narrowing it down further will help you create something that really grabs your target audience. Do a brainstorm if you can, then look at who these people are, what their problems are, what their fears are, what they really want, and how you can help. This is of course assuming that you haven't already decided upon the exact content. Work out your audience though before creating the product, rather than the other way round.

    I agree with Peter re: the blog post titles idea. This will be loads easier though once you've got the above nailed.

    Good luck with your webinar!

    I would always suggest a name that looks more professional and agressive, somthing like SEO MOUNT, or SEO HUNT

    There are several effective ways to make your webinar title sound catchy and powerful:

    - start with an action verb and focus on the outcome rather than on the activity itself. For examplde: “Create a killer SEO strategy: Secrets from the gurus.”;
    - make your title sound personal: “SEO. What’s it for me?”;
    - start with the words “How to...”, “The best ways to...” - this implies you will be teaching people and providing some insights.
    - ensure your title contains searchable keywords;
    - use odd numbers. For some reason, odd numbers work better than event numbers and numbers under ten appeal more than larger numbers. For example: "Five ways to create a killer SEO strategy".

    And finally, be creative – make your title sound innovative and unusual.
