Video Landing Pages... Tips please

Hi..

I've been doing some article marketing recently and have just used redirects to affiliate sites.

Now, my products are not converting very well and I was thinking about creating some real landing pages instead.

I believe that a video landing page with information about the niche + a minireview would be the best.

Any thoughts on this?

    I would have the video auto start and be at the top of the page. Don't be boring, try and be animated and excited with it =) Videos are a great tool to bring up your conversions, and if you do it right can bring massive success.

    A video would be great. I would not have it start automatically, though (personal opinion) and I think it should be a custom job and not have a YouTube watermark on it.

    Thanks guys...

    I've tried with videos on two of my niche sites since the question.. Not a lot of success though.

    I created a review of the product (ebook) wherei basically recorded the screen while talking about the product..

    Videos are about 10-12 min long...

    I think I will test more in the future

      To get more traffic from your videos - put them on YouTube, Viddler and so on - make it linked back to your landing page!
      Also I'd recommend to insert some well-knows (High-ranked) topic-related videos from Youtube into your side - it' bring some people too...

          Careful... 10-12 minute video might bore people into leaving the site. I know I wouldnt watch it for that long. Try to make it short with a punch. Good luck.

    If you add the video, be sure to check from multiple people to make sure the pages loads quick. You don't want a poor experience to drive people away.
