What would you sell on this site?

Okay, I randomly created this website when I started doing keyword research. I realize it wasn't a good choice but I have it now and it gets about 100 hits a day. It is #1 on google for it's EMD keyword. If you could monetize this site what would you do? Thanks for you help.

There's a number of things that could work. I would focus on things in the health niche. You could promote offers that are relevant to relaxation; maybe yoga products or breathing techniques. I've suffered from migraines for as long as I can remember, but I know relaxation methods seem to help.

You could promote offers that have to do with healthy eating. Healthier eating habits = better health = less headaches.

You could promote stress relief techniques. Less stress means less headaches.

Just some ideas. Be creative and test different offers to see what works best.

A banner ad shows on the left for unlimited leads and fiver gigs. I hope that's just targeted to me, it's a Google ad so it probably is. But you should obviously have an ad about how to cure headaches and sell stuff about that.

And make sure that you choose what the ad is going to be, so you can track your results.

If people like me show up with a headache, but also have cookies on our computer or whatever for internet marketing stuff, it's going to serve up an ad that's not targeted to the solution I'm looking for at that exact moment.

Which is not good. If I land on there looking to cure my headache but it's serving up how to get leads ads, well I'm not really interested in that at the moment. So hook up with a product about headaches and get a banner ad and use that.

    Thanks
    Marc Rodill

PS. You should also probably test a popup ad too.

Rule #1 - never reveal your niche sites in public.

Rule #2 - Always test, test test. There is no single answer to your question. Test tens of different products until you find one that works. You can try Clickbank, physical products, CPA, etc. Nobody here can answer this for you. You must do the hard work to test different products until you find something that works.

Rule #3 - You won't get rich from SEO. If you don't somehow get repeat visitors you won't make much money. Try building an e-mail list with that traffic if possible.

I agree about your #1 joaquin112. When I am trying to discuss or reply anything about niches, I would surely never reveal my own niche sites, as your potential top competitors may see it and do anything not to get your site rank well than them. And for SEO, yes I also agree that we can't get rich on that, although it is a long term income process.

As for the question by the OP, you can sell various things like banner ad space (where you may charge them weekly or monthly basis), or affiliate/CPA banners from Clickbank, Peerfly, etc.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it a lot. But how do I promote the products? Do I do a post by itself about a particular product and then link to it from one of my articles or just drop banners on my site and not talk about the products?

You can do either one. For example, if you find a product you want to promote on Clickbank, you can write an HONEST review about the product. Talk about the pros of the product as well as the cons. Yes this will mean buying the product to write an accurate review, or you can contact the seller and see if you can get a review copy.

If you don't want to do a write up, most clickbank vendors have affiliate tools pages where you can download banners that you can put on your website.

Curious, why are people so secretive about their niche sites? This one isn't important to me so why does it matter?

Your call to action is weak, and nobody cares about "an awesome product". Nobody ever cares about the product. They care about what the product will do for them.

Also, don't switch suddenly to 1st person. It's jarring. And you can afford your Call To Action ("Click Here") to be bigger, bolder, and maybe something different altogether ("End Headaches Now!") or something.

Not personally a big fan of this sort of thing (looks a little sleazy to me...) but you could definitely do it better than you're doing now. Good luck.

You can try alternative medicine. There are many products that can help people who have strange health problems, which surpass traditional medicine in many ways.

You also have to show a picture of the product you are promoting. You have to give an incentive to your visitors to make them decide to learn more. This cold ‘Click here’ won't help you make sales.
