Alternative to Google reader

INTERNET MARKETING

Anyone found one they like that is free? I've looked at some mentioned on large sites like life hacker but have not liked any of them. Newsblur looks like it is a paid tool, I don't like feedly cause its an app and it wants my real gmail address, and newsblur doesn't seem to work correctly, nor does there seem to be any documentation...

I went with Feedly in the end too although I thought originally I would use The Old Reader but I found it was not easy ( not for me anyway) to import the info from Google Reader.

With Feedly I just did it with one click.

You can register for Newsblur free of charge, you just have to cancel out of the "Sorry, we're all out of free registration slots!" or whatever error message when it first pops up.

I'm not sure it's supposed to work like that, but unless they've fixed it in the last month or so, it's workable.

  I found an excellent alternative called "Talkwalker" allerts .I like it because it works exactly like Google Reader. Once you make the switch you totally forget about GR. I hope this helps.
